So I have a decent sized collection of comics probably around 600 or so from late 80s to mid to late 90s. I just wanted to know how to go about selling them or getting then graded, if it's worth my time or if there's people out there that will offer a good deal/price for collection of that size

Where are you located? Depending on your location I know many dealers who will make an effort to drive to you

Ghost Rider #28                     $3; NM-, or better (direct)(death of Nima, the Ghost Rider)

:takeit: add this to the pile (2006 to 2009 series)

selling for like 60-90 atm, the app says it real important for new sorcerer supreme coming, but that app is wrong alot

that first app has a lot of potential. It's those early/mid 2000s Marvel first female app books that ppl scoffed off initially like Echo, Shuri, Bishop, etc.. and look at those mega keys now

I've always found many people have a misunderstanding of how CGC grades modern books, and especially dark cover modern books. Vintage dark covers, much tougher to get higher grades like with ASM 28, but with modern dark covers I've found there's a bit more leniency, and especially when it comes to the spine. Looking at this book as a whole, it's very nice, and the few stress marks/ticks pictured, I still think it's grade is justifiable. Could I just as easily see it in a 9.4 or maybe even 9.2, sure. However, I think saying this is deserving of an 8.0 or 8.5 is incorrect. Ultimately, an entire comic is what's graded and not just one section of it. So if CGC deemed other elements to be flawless, they must have clearly felt the spine wear was not sufficient enough to justify a lower grade.

I think your logic is the reason that this is not many people's NM+

I haven't sold on eBay in a couple years. Can someone help me with changes/rumors I think I've heard?

    1. If I sell a $2,000 item, do I need to file it in my taxes?

    2. They don't take PayPal anymore, right?

    3. What's the current "cut" they will take? (estimate is OK)

Anything else to be aware of?

Thanks in advance for the help.

    1. likely/depends

    2. as a payment method they do, as a payout method it's ebay's own managed payments

    3. for collectibles category it's 12.35%

Yeah, I'm saying, for $10 bucks it's a good deal. I mean, I agree it doesn't look like a cgc 9.6, but even if you cracked it out, you're still probably ahead. You might be able to find a 9.0 raw for $10, but maybe not.

After removing the $10 price sticker the original was I believe $40.. I got rid of that sticker too but the adhesive residue remains :(
