  1. Not only that, but what is up with him typing so many words lately?
  2. Oh, I get it. Andy's only cool when he's filling your want list.
  3. If you are a paid member of the Collector's Society, you can look up a slab and get the date it was graded over the Internet.
  4. As I understand it, a reholder doesn't get regraded unless the damage to the current slab is such that there's a possibility that damage was done to the book. Generally speaking, they just reholder it and give a cursory glance. A resub goes thru the whole process, resto check, 3 graders, used as a coaster, etc. Resubs are mostly used in an attempt to get a higher grade when the owner disagrees with the one originally received. Perhaps we need an English to Canadian translator?
  5. These just arrived from Scott in Texas. I hope you are feeling better, Scott.
  6. Bob sent a previously graded CGC 9.2 white paged book that had been cracked out back to CGC and they gave it an 8.5 with white pages.
  7. Yeah, I know But it ain't happenin'. He delivered the goods promptly, I'm just never dealing with him again - you guys can deal with it when he sells to you. So, what you are saying is that since you got ripped off in a timely manner, it's okay.
  8. I do too. I got it from nik who got it from... one of the Hawaiian dudes I think... I don't remember. I forget how many times this thing has changed hands.
  9. Excellent Lawrence. I really appreciate the laugh. You're one of the ones that make this place worthwhile. (thumbs u
  10. Finally! Best looking 9.0 I have ever seen. As part of the Christopher No Thumb Collection, this book used to reside with THE_BEYONDER in Toronto.
  11. Tomahawk 122 9.4 white. Thanks, Teddie. (thumbs u
  12. JC, why don't you tell us how it feels to feel that the world revolves around you? Do you feel sad, or disappointed, when others don't appear to live in the same, JC-centric universe you do? Does habitual lying make you feel better about that? We'd love to hear you express your thoughts on this! Speak for yourself.
  13. I agree with our resident hick. It's not like he started a thread for each book he had for sale like someone did a couple of weeks ago. If the types of books are different enough, then they deserve their own threads. Plus, some are threads he has closed only to have window shoppers continue to bump them.
