It should read: Since the receiver has deleted the PM on their side the sender instantly gets that the message is unread by none even though the receiver never actually received it.

Then why not explain your perception. My perception is that he is calling Arthur an insufficiently_thoughtful_person for paying too much for this book (that he has been searching for for 8 years). Greggy does not even have a 9.4 of this book. I think nik was just reacting more to the excitement surrounding the auction and the price paid for the book. I will go out on a limb and say his comment centered more around greggy and his penchant for 100 pages and really had little if anything to do with Arthur, IMHO.
