  1. I don't have a Jag. Never could get past the fact that they are made by Ford. However, Buffyfan's Jag is sweet and he did give us a ride to dinner. Thanks again, Don.
  2. Please let me get my copy first to go into my run then you go " Calamerica " all you want. Why didn't you just win the 9.4 and get it over with? You mean you don't drive fellow forumites to dinner in your $85,000 Jaguar? It is a nice car and the ride was sweet.
  3. Nah, they should know by now that I have total respect for those guys. I admire how focused they are and how determined they are in their collecting goals. Good save. (thumbs u
  4. You're just a glutton for punishment aren't you.
  5. Danny likes anything wafer thin, pressed in plastic and with good eye appeal. Hence Jessica Alba.
  6. God knows I've tried. Good post by Doc Watson in the PM problems thread in General: There is a typo in that first paragraph. It should read: Since the receiver has deleted the PM on their side the sender instantly gets that the message is unread by none even though the receiver never actually received it.
  7. Thank you. I knew it wasn't quite right, but couldn't wrap my head around why. Still recuperating.
  8. Then why not explain your perception. My perception is that he is calling Arthur an insufficiently_thoughtful_person for paying too much for this book (that he has been searching for for 8 years). Greggy does not even have a 9.4 of this book. I think nik was just reacting more to the excitement surrounding the auction and the price paid for the book. I will go out on a limb and say his comment centered more around greggy and his penchant for 100 pages and really had little if anything to do with Arthur, IMHO.
  9. I don't think he meant that comment the way it is being received.
  10. Mr Melodrama strikes again... That statement wasn't melodramatic. Mr. Overreacting strikes again... This, however, would be melodramatic:
  11. All I remember is that it was created to help keep the probation thread clean and to some extent, the sales threads. So, I guess I see it as kind of a catch all thread. But hey, what do I know. Maybe we need more threads that we aren't allowed to post in.
  12. Pull yours out and add it to the for sale thread. I have come to the realization that 100 page DC collectors are out of their tits Someone had a high snipe set early in the auction.
  13. Is he not discussing a thread that is in forum sales? Not to be argumentative, but isn't that what a forum sales discussion thread is about. What you have for sale in the forum.
  14. Very nice book, Casey, but didn't the COW pages scare you any?
  15. Sweet KC! Your much better then Doc or MK! I'm keeping an eye on you, Lawrence.
  16. That's true I guess if by dime, you mean $1900 and by dozen you mean the only Pacific Coast copy, one of 5 copies overall, and with two copies higher. Oh ho. There is another PC copy. I did not know that. Is it the 9.6 or the 9.8? It is the 9.8 ensconced in Mr. Schmell's collection.
  17. That's true I guess if by dime, you mean $1900 and by dozen you mean the only Pacific Coast copy, one of 5 copies overall, and with two copies higher. Oh ho. There is another PC copy.
  18. Yeah, some loser living down south Better a Southern loser than a smart azz Yankee. One word: Double.
  19. Wow, Steve. That is a great book. Whoever sold you that must have been nuts to let it go.
  20. That is sweet! I missed a 9.8 in that book once. Very nice. (thumbs u
  21. Thank you, Casey. The wrap is a little off, but I couldn't complain for $42.00.
