IMO those aren't color braking creases, from what I see they're dirt that can be cleaned/pressed away.
However I have a concern about the cover lower right corner. Assuming my eyes aren't playing tricks on me, I'm either seeing 1/4" crease or a colour touched 1/4" crease.
If there's nothing there I would say this book is a possible 9.4-9.8If it's a crease I'm seeing the book's a 9.0
If it's color touched than the book's a purple label 9.0
There’s a small diagonal non colour breaking crease on the corner there, no colour touch though.

Your light is making everything look very yellow. At least, I think it's the light. B/c I now that cover is white. I see just a bit of sun shadow or dust shadow on the back cover. outside edge toward the upper left, the top edge on the right. Assuming the comic is actually white and it's just those 2 things, I'd say 8.5±0.5. Without the shadow, I could see 9.0ish. depending on what the discoloration is, a cleaner might be able to get it off. Love this cover. It just missed the cut for a Steranko, and I kind of regret not sending it.
I added a couple of photos in better light with a white background. There’s some tanning.

I see some light vertical "color breaking" lines on the front cover, but these look like printing defects. I can't tell what that line is on the bottom left of the back cover. A crease? A manufacturers crease? I'd want to make sure to know what that is before sending it for grading. Overall appearance, especially with a black cover, I think 8.5±0.5. I would bet on the over if the defects listed are production related.
Yeah pretty difficult to tell what that line is BL BC. Pretty smooth to the touch but you can feel a little something, does not break the paper, very difficult to see on the inside back cover. Good eye! Still no clue what it is though. Thanks for the estimate!

Concentrated UV light does a lot more than wonders.
Is that an endorsement or a condemnation? Lol

No, sun shadows do not clean off. This is tanning, not dirt. The paper is darker. All the way through.
I have seen dust shadows that were truly just dust or soot. Those often clean off. Most of the time you will know the difference by looking at the inside of cover. You see the discoloration on the inside, it's not gong to clean of with dry cleaning methods. It's through the paper and it would take solvents to wash out.Awesome response, thank you

Hope this is the right forum for this,
I was wondering if any of you cleaning and pressing aficionados knew if sun or dust shadows are defects that a cleaning could help at all?
Thanks! Pictures available if necessary. -

That is a beautiful copy. With a good clean and press, I would say 8.5 to 9.0. The only possible issue that I see is the light foxing coming through on the upper right corner of the back cover. Really nice book though. Congrats.
Thank you!

PGM Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #1
in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
Posted
Hi everyone,
This one looks to have a minor pressable subscription crease and a couple of other minor flaws. Wondering how it might grade.
Thanks for having a look!
