  1. Yes. There's a sense of satisfaction in finding the whole run, whether it's ten books or 500!
  2. If this: is deemed an apology by the board, then all is forgiven. I don`t consider it an apology, except maybe by an illiterate. How hard is it for a grown man to write, in actual letters, "I`m sorry"? I think it's close enough...
  3. You realize that no ASM collection is complete without an AF15 right?
  4. I just received my first EC book in the mail today :
  5. Thanks to Point Five for my first EC book (Weird Fantasy 15) and not my last!

  7. It usually takes ft88 a while to respond to pms. Yes but his dealings have been problem free for me. I agree. Grading, Pricing and Packaging have been spot on!

  9. Now that you've sold your ASM 300 in 9.8, are you going to buy your ASM 1?
  10. Not nearly as cool as an AF15, but I thought it was worth sharing a couple of recents pickups from comicdey :
  11. Big Thanks go out to comicdey for helping me fill in some gaping holes in my collection (e.g ASM, TOS and Silver Surfer). Here's some samples:
  12. What grade are you looking for? I think John is probably looking for #92 the way I was looking for #41 for a while. He (reasonably) wants a real bargain, since there's loads of mid-to-high-grade copies out there, and because he (once again reasonably) figures he's one of the very few people actively looking for this issue! I think we found him a nice F/VF at 50% off from Jamie Newbold at SoCalComics.com. Many Thanks to FFB! The book came this week. The grading was spot on and at 50% off...
  13. Kudos to Marvel Collector for the ASM 32. It came as advertised and the packaging was top notch!
  14. Blob, that's a considerable amount of weight for any home. I recall that there are a few civil/structural engineers on the boards (comicdey comes to mind) that you may wish to pm regarding your question.

Yep, I'm a cheapskate at heart! now you tell me That's why I do time payments.

  18. I usually don't post until the books arrives but... If I could just find a nicely priced 92, then I'll only have from 1 - 10 to go...
