  1. Now that you've sold your ASM 300 in 9.8, are you going to buy your ASM 1?
  2. Not nearly as cool as an AF15, but I thought it was worth sharing a couple of recents pickups from comicdey :
  3. Big Thanks go out to comicdey for helping me fill in some gaping holes in my collection (e.g ASM, TOS and Silver Surfer). Here's some samples:
  4. What grade are you looking for? I think John is probably looking for #92 the way I was looking for #41 for a while. He (reasonably) wants a real bargain, since there's loads of mid-to-high-grade copies out there, and because he (once again reasonably) figures he's one of the very few people actively looking for this issue! I think we found him a nice F/VF at 50% off from Jamie Newbold at SoCalComics.com. Many Thanks to FFB! The book came this week. The grading was spot on and at 50% off...
  5. Kudos to Marvel Collector for the ASM 32. It came as advertised and the packaging was top notch!
  6. Blob, that's a considerable amount of weight for any home. I recall that there are a few civil/structural engineers on the boards (comicdey comes to mind) that you may wish to pm regarding your question.

Yep, I'm a cheapskate at heart! now you tell me That's why I do time payments.

  10. I usually don't post until the books arrives but... If I could just find a nicely priced 92, then I'll only have from 1 - 10 to go...
  11. Seriously bad form...if you don't have the money immediately available to buy, refrain from using the . It's not a hard concept. Sellers shouldn't have to wait for you to get your finances straight... Jim Sometimes I think it does well for common courtesy. Centaurman let me do time payments on a book, because I couldn't pass up on it due to the overwhelming good deal. My budget is small so it helps out a lot. The difference is that I'm sure Centaurman knew that you wanted to do time payments up front. Time payments are a beautiful thing...
  12. Not to sound like a broken record (how many in advance have said the same thing?)... Thanks to Nick for some great high grade 70's Marvels. First Class!
  13. I am sure your intentions are pure...but this is over the line. CGC decides nothing about pedigrees, the hobby does. People just sit back and enjoy what he is willing to share....jon Amen. Can we see some Tecs or Timely's? Pretty please...
  14. ...And a killer group shot of those Timelys! Man! You will probably want to unload your Science Comics #3 and #4 at this point, as they clearly fall outside your collecting interest.
  15. Love those ST's!!! Agreed. How's the Spider-man story?
