  1. Too many to choose from. Here are a few recent photos that I had handy!
  2. You have to admit that the last Godzilla movie (King of the Monsters?) wasn't very good. Hopefully this one is better!
  3. Hi, I'm looking to add some Marvel Mags to my collection. Anyone have these in VF or better and are looking to sell? Savage Tales 1 Marvel Preview 7, 12 Tales of the Zombie 1-4 Cheers, John
  4. Good luck guys. This Canuck can’t see what he has for sale. Next on my list is a few Marvel Magazines...
  5. Thanks for the kind words. With all the great comics posted on the boards, it's easy to lose sight of my personal achievements in the hobby.
  6. Nice books! My year from a collecting perspective wasn't as memorable as yours. That said, I was able to pick up a number of Silver Age Books in 2020. The notables were: Completed my ASM 1 - 50 run. the big purchases were issues 10 and 22. TTA 27 CGC 4.5 ST 110 CGC 5.0 Goals for this year? I'm just about finished paying for an XM 1 in CGC 3.5. I should have purchased this book 5 years ago, but am very happy to finally add this to my collection. I would also like to add an Avengers 1 to my collection and perhaps put a 1-12 set together (currently have 2-4). After that, it gets tougher. With the XM1 purchase, the big books I'm missing are FF 1 & 5, and Hulk 1. I guess I could put some more early Marvel silver mini runs together or play the upgrade game. I'm more likely to put my money into Bronze Keys moving forward (gasp).
  7. I would be incredibly bored with this show if they had gone the villain of the week approach. I'm glad they are trying something different.
  8. Read the following yesterday: Original Sin: Thor & Loki: The Tenth Realm #5.1 Original Sin: Thor & Loki: The Tenth Realm #5.2 Original Sin: Thor & Loki: The Tenth Realm #5.3 Original Sin: Thor & Loki: The Tenth Realm #5.4 Original Sin: Thor & Loki: The Tenth Realm #5.5 Original Sin #6 Original Sin #7 Original Sin #8 Thor (2014 series) #1 Thor (2014 series) #2 Thor (2014 series) #3 Thor (2014 series) #4 Thor (2014 series) #5 Thor (2014 series) Annual #1 Thor (2014 series) #6 Thor (2014 series) #7 Thor (2014 series) #8 The Mighty Thor (2015 series) #1 The Mighty Thor (2015 series) #2 The Mighty Thor (2015 series) #3 The Mighty Thor (2015 series) #4 The Mighty Thor (2015 series) #5 The Mighty Thor (2015 series) #6 The Mighty Thor (2015 series) #7 The Mighty Thor (2015 series) #8 Did I mention the numbering and chronology is confusing during this era of Thor? I enjoyed the idea that Thor has a sister and the reasoning behind Odinson no longer being worth. The transition to a new Thor is also well done. New tally is 93 Comics. Did I really agree to read 1,000 issues this year?
  9. +1 Also, Clea always seemed kinder and more altruistic than what we have seen from Caulfield’s character so far.
  10. It’s worth reading and probably still available in TPB.
  11. I read that in floppies. The Immortal Iron Fist Omnibus is hopelessly out of print.
  12. As a Spidey collector, I have the first two. The Savage Tales cover looks gorgeous!
  13. I’m on a Jason Aaron’s Thor kick. I just finished Thor God of Thunder 1 to 25. This is a great Thor story, right up with Simonson’s run. Highly recommended! New tally is 68 issues.
  14. I’ll scan some photos of the Eerie 7 tomorrow.
  15. I'll also add that it was like a mix Twilight Zone, Pleasantville, Bewitched, and even a little Stepford Wives. Somehow it all works...
  16. I think this is a slow burn that will be worth the investment.
  17. I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep, so I watched Ep. 1 & 2. I have no idea what's going on behind the scenes but the vintage tv sitcom feel is well done. I felt like I was watching an episode of Bewitched. The acting is very well done. The commercials are a nice touch. I'm interested to see where this goes.
  18. This should do very well in the long term. Definitely the definition of a blue chip collectible investment!
