  1. Adam Hughes Zatanna Group Shot and worthy bump to this thread...
  2. I got a good deal on these ASM books on Facebook (of all places). I can’t believe the size of Vol 1 compared to Vol 4. How do I tell if it’s a first print?
  3. Easy Answer! Amazing Spider-man No. 2. I hate the Vulture and everything about the cover on that book.
  4. Frank Miller at the height of his powers.
  5. Good Critical Reviews could turn around the ennui (apathy) for this film. It has a lot going for it in terms of casting, Marvel Reputation, well known character, etc. I’d be shocked if the -script isn’t at least a 7/10.
  6. That was a solid price for a hard to find book. Congrats on the sale.
  7. How are people tracking their reads? With my venture into Collected Editions and my digital reading on Hoopla/Marvel Unlimited. This sounds doable. We'll see if that's still the case once I head back to work tomorrow. Reads so far: Deadly Class 17 - 44 (27 issues) Black Magick 1 - 11 (11 issues) Money Shot 1 - 5 (5 issues)
  8. As a receiver of packages from the US, my experience has been mixed. It's been a while, but I found the import surcharge to be a pricey turnoff. Fed-Ex is by far the best and most expensive. Found this interesting Reddit about this topic.
  9. Amongst the DC Live Movies, I’m a fan of Man of Steel and WW. The majority of the animated films are very good. I also like Harley Quinn (TV), Flash, and Arrow. It’s super disappointing they can’t make consistently good films.
  10. I like Near Mint and Omni Bros for the discussions on collected editions.
  11. Are we really attacking the cover to AF15? (Yes, I agree that Kirby couldn’t draw Spidey to save his life.)
  12. Here is data for Avengers 8 in 6.0 which seem plentiful. Upward trend is scorching hot...
  13. @Randall Dowling Yes you need 7 copies of Creepy 16.
  14. When you have a book with little sales data, I think it’s important to take a holistic view of the data. For example, what’s happening with other grades? My sense is that Avengers 8 is scorching hot.
  15. You missed Calgary! On a more serious note, I’m taking a wait and see approach and it will depend on restrictions, case counts, and vaccine roll out. It’s scheduled for late July/early August, so time will tell. The US/Canada Border has been closed for several months so that could affect things as well. Either way, I think shows will be quite scaled down compared to prior years.
