    This is when I bought mine at an auction at the N.Y. comic con. I paid $35. I'm guessing nowadays it would grade out at 8.5 or 9.0

    Is it possible a lot of the 80's and 90's collectors like myself who dropped out fir a long time are coming back? We all thought Xmen 94 was the book to have back then and seeing GSX1 so high 94 looks like a screaming deal atm.

    Haha I know. I've got a good friend who got in very early on bitcoin and is now quite wealthy because of it. I had my chances but Ya win some ya lose some.

    Wow, glad I got mine back in the 80's. If only I had been smart enough to pick up GSX1 back then also.

    There are a lot of these. Back in the day nobody really cared about variants and people thought that if they could get rid of the big ugly sticker it might be worth more.

    Yea I wonder what the story behind the crossing out of free is. My guess is someone sold it again at a yard sale or something and didn't want free written on it.
