  8. Huh, Weird. I don't Remember mine being edited at all. Been many many years since I watched it though. I guess I'll have to dig out a VHS player and check it out. Just looked and this copy came out in 1990 which is 6 years after the original movie came out. I was watching this in the 80's so seems probable I had another copy before that. Probably wore it out then grabbed this one as a replacement.
  9. I remember absolutly loving the first one. In fact I must have thought the Toxic Avenger was one of the greatest super-hero movies ever made back when I was a teenager, because I even went out and bought the VHS of it.
  10. Yes its too bad they didnt go with this orignal -script where a radioactive spider fell into a cask of fine single malt scotch, and in a fit of enebriated delerium, said radioactive spider bit it's venomous fangs into the cask itself, which of course as youd expect with the conjunctions of radioactive spider venom and Single Malt Scotch aged to to perfection in a Kentucky bourbon barrel, created non other than... The WOOD GOD!
  11. Oh believe me, I know all about it. My stepfather was in early computer programming. I remember using tape recorders to write store basic programs and making D&D type stuff for fun as a kid. X's and O`s moving through self created dash and backslash dungeons etc. etc. Anyone remember Hunt the Wumpus?
  12. Yea my collection goes precipitously downhill after 93 but but luckily It made it so I had more money to by back issues of the stuff I really liked. At least until I moved out if the US and stopped collecting for many many years, till recently got the bug again.
  13. I did the same thing also. Stopped buying most of my Marvel and DC titles and started buying Valiant because the stories weren't doing it for me. Really enjoyed the Valiant line for a while then I started losing interest in them also. Somewhere around 95 I'd completely lost interest in all new comics and after that only bought old comics and the occasional Heavy Metal mag which were still enjoyable.
  14. Same I probably only paid about 12$ for it in the $80's which was a lot for me at the time and it was considered a hot comic but now 40 years later it dosnt even register on Gocollect.
