  1. What about FF 49 and 50. I sorta remember them switching back and forth in most valuable a long time ago.
  2. Ha very cool, I used to buy all my underground`s at Million Year Picnic and the original Newbury Comics in Cambridge Ma.
  3. Hard to read but that seems correct to me.
  4. Agreed the top book is a train wreck. I was thinking more on why the second book scored as low as first but probably should have been wondering the opposite.
  5. Not new but came across this one from back in the day when we only had grading in Mint, Fine, Good and garbage.
  6. Picked this up at a flea market on Cape Cod in the early 80's. The Guy had boxes full of super nice silver age copy's like this. I was 12ish and had just started collecting. Bought this one and another comic for maybe 5$ at the most. Took me a couple weeks before I knew how awesome that collection was just sitting there in a flea market. Went back every week for like 2 years but never saw that guy again.
  7. I guess it depends on what you like in a book. For me it's the second copy as I'd much prefure the fading to stains and tape but I know there are some people who color richness is their thing, so maybe the top one might be their preference.
  8. Sweet copy! Looks even better than an 8.0 from the pics. Congrats on the upgrade!
  9. Bought this at my local Liggetts Drug Store way way back. Was so surprised to find two covers. Had never even heard of that happening back then. Unfortunately it's got a bad newstand crease in the spine through both covers.
  10. Just looked and mines a direct. Only Post 200 UXM newstands I have are these and they are ungraded.
  11. Nice! I gotta bust out mine and get it graded soon too.
  12. Yea I will get the grader notes I think. This will be my first submission as I'm an old collector who's been out of the scene for about 25 yrs. Still have over 3000 books that I'm going through trying to figure out which ones to get graded or pressed and graded etc.. From what I've heard about printers crease's are that they shouldn't be fixed or you'll have a worse situation of ink loss where the crease was. I believe a press would not effect a printers crease but I'm definitely not an expert so I'd ask around some more on that and would be curious to know the definitive answer on it also. Kind of disappointing to hear that a printers crease on the back cover made your book grade decrease so much.
  13. Yea! Unfortunately it has a slight newsstand crease near the number. No ink loss though so near the top of my list to get sent in for a press and slab and hope for a nice grade on it.
  14. Never thought it would turn into one of the more valuable ASM 200-300 books. Glad I got it when it was like 1$.
