  1. Yea, just in case anyone else was wondering. It turns out if the hologram isn't deep blue from every angle it isnt the rare defective blue hologram even if it looks much more blue than green.
  2. Thanks I think I found It. Apparently I forgot to add the AND to my search before.
  3. This is how it looks scanned. Probably not very helpful though.
  4. So I guess this comic is a lot more valuable with a blue Hologram. This seems like it's blue to me most times I look at it but at a certain angle it turns green around the edges. Anyone have any on weather this is a green or blue hologram on this book?
  5. Here's a decent copy I pulled out of a box today.
  6. Bought this Back in the early 80's. At the time it was the most expensive book I'd ever bought at 85$ plus 10 or 20% store discount. Can"t remember anymore.
  7. Bought this at the 1981 NY Comic Convention auction for $35.
  8. Another couple from a random box of comics I picked up 25 or so years ago.
  9. Picked these up in a box of random weird comics many moons ago.
  10. Ah ha you guys are good and that explains it perfectly. So all MGC #73`s have this color pattern in the box and it's not some weird variant within a variant. Very cool to know. ☺
  11. Very interesting reading about the history of the direct market diamonds in this thread. Came accross this comic today with a 2 toned yellow and blue diamond. Had never seen anything but black and white diamonds. Is this normal?
  12. It's pure genius. The simplicity of the surrounding cover draws you to the center which is the Goblins very dilated eyes and Spidey smacking him down. The perfect say no to drugs cover plus the no comic code authority stamp to give it street cred. Perfection
  13. Just found this Sgt. Rock 329 in my old pile of "junk Comics" actually in pretty decent shape. Here's a scan if you still need one.
  14. Yup back in the Northeast again now. This time on Cape Cod. Saw the post with your map with all the places where one had been found. Do you know or have a guess as to how many of these have been discovered to date?
  15. Just for the record here's the inside of my copy. Seems to have the same date as the regular comic release. Don`t know if that helps with the mystery or not.
