  1. Yes, looks like the same CGC # (0202540001) as his last auction. Also the same one that is listed in GPA as sold in April 2017. And when I try to contact seller to ask him what happened, Very strange.
  2. yeah, he seems to sell and/or resell a lot of copies. His listing said he was saving up for a house (again). I asked him about this specific copy and here is his response: Hmmm?. So the plot thickens. I just got a second chance offer from Nick Bridger for a TMNT #1 CGC 9.8 for $24,000. Quite a discount off of the $30,100 for the last one. How many copies of this book does this guy have?
  3. I'd appreciate everyone's grade estimates for this one. Front Cover: multiple spine stresses, upper edge wear, color breaking crease upper left corner. Back Cover: Chunk missing bottom left corner , some non-color breaking creases upper left and right corners.
  4. Picked up an amazing Calvin & Hobbes signed lithograph from Frank. Great communication, fast, safe shipping, and an all around great deal!
  5. The sides and bottom are rigid but the middle is flexible (see pic). I think these might be them. https://www.opentip.com/search.php?cPath=24374&products_id=7960079&gclid=CjwKCAiAj53SBRBcEiwAT-3A2OrNTHy6ksxBx-rd-Es_ulLx0zA8rJu34zUrLvBph1l65Wr_of4G2BoCvOEQAvD_BwE
  6. Apologies in advance but I have been trying to figure this out for a while. I figured it would be easier just to post a pic and ask. Can someone tell me what gerber, mylite, mylar, top loader, archive, or whatever this thing is? And where I can buy them? As you can see it is big enough to hold a bagged and boarded bronze book. Measures 7 5/8" wide x 11" long x 1/4" thick. Very sturdy.

  8. I hope the auction stays right where it is... Mwahahahaha!
  9. 9.8 on ebay ending today. Any guesses on the final price? https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=teenage+mutant+ninja+turtles+%231++9.8&_sop=16
  10. Nick Bridger's 9.8 is on ebay now. Sitting at $23,600 . https://www.ebay.com/itm/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-1-1st-Printing-CGC-9-8-1984-Mirage/352237593737?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649
  11. That's a beauty! Looks like the edges have been cropped a little in the photo but I would say 8.5/9.0 range. I don't see any reason why it would need pressing.
  12. Thanks for the grade. What keeps this from a 9.4? It's not a purple label. No restoration that I'm aware of. What concerns you on the spine?
  13. Really nice, clean book. Appreciate your thoughts on it. It is already slabbed but I'm thinking about resubmitting. I apologize for the glare - will try to get better pics. Couple of things I can see with it in hand: spine stresses along spine some shadowing along the back spine some edge wear along spine Send me your grades!! some guy named Herb Trimpe wrote on the front cover two or three spine stress marks spine stress that barely breaks color to the left of hulk's foot tan line along spine
  14. Bryan and I just completed a transaction for a beautiful Amazing Fantasy #15. Great communication and very easy to work with. So great to work with someone you can trust and you can trust Bryan! Thanks again!
  15. First Printing Check/Money Order preferred - paypal add 3% 3-6 month Time Payments available w/20% non-refundable down payment trumps PMs
  16. I bought a beautiful TOS #39 from Isaac. The transaction went flawlessly. Can't wait to buy another great book from him! Highly recommended.
  17. Thanks Terrapin. I would be very happy with a 7.0! I would conservatively give it a 6.0/6.5 due to the crease at her eye level, rounded corners, and spine ticks but it's so hard to tell with this cover. I think the specks across her hair and neck may be a printing defect but I'm not sure. There is another group of specks (in a line) just above Wrightson's signature.
  18. One of my all time favorites! Hard to believe there were only 3,000 1st prints. GLWTS!!
