Obviously my grading stinks, just make me try harder...... thanks, I missed the tics bec they looked like the design from the front in person, I only noticed when I looked real real close then realized uuugghh but Im ok with a 9.2 or better just not for a walk through which Im dying to try. Just need the right book..

Don't beat yourself up.  It takes lots of practice and research to train your eye to look for this type of stuff.  The good news is you're in the right place.  This forum is a gold mine of comic knowledge!

    Cheers! :foryou:

Anyone going to NYCC and willing to pickup an exclusive vinyl figure for my wife? It's an artist line she has collected for probably 8-10 years.

The item is $115 and should not be difficult to get. It's lightweight and shipping should be around $10 or less. Willing to pay $165 shipped paypal goods and services. Please PM if interested in helping out and we can chat more. Thanks

I picked up this X-Men pin advertising set off eBay some time ago. Problem 1, it stunk of smoke, so I needed to air it outside for a bit. Problem 2, how to display it? My wife and I kicked around some ideas, but she eventually took one of my ideas and made it better. The advertising page sits in plastic, at the bottom of a shadow box. Just enough pressure keeps the small magnets in place under the plastic in the shadow box. Then the pins are held in place by the magnets, but the pins can be easily removed or adjusted. After I took the photos, the magnets sticking out of the sides bothered me a bit, so I re-did it, and it's a little cleaner now and you can't see the magnets under the pins. But for a display piece from 1984, it's in great shape.

I remember those pins. That display looks great. Love the Paul Smith art!
