All I can say is WOW :o :o Incredibly well-written Zonker. Certainly makes me want to delve into some research and my early 70's books to see what I can find.
Agreed! (thumbs u (thumbs u

What, no shout-out for spotting that Avengers?

I wasn't involved with this sale, but what do you think of the price?
For a 9.8, from that era it seems like a decent price... oh, AND it's a Double Cover?!

Package monster? Is that a monster ?
I don't believe so, as you can clearly see... this particular specimen is of the 3-eyed monster variety.
Though as I observe further, I must say there are some... similarities.

What, it's been a month w/ no here...?
A recently received purchase found that a Shiverbones "Package Monster" had tagged along:
* It looks massive, but is approx 5"x5"... I'm still working w/ the learning curve on my new camera.

Picked up a great 4-page battle sequence from Conan 203, with Conan vs. Thulsa Doom to the death! Thanks to Anthony Snyder.
Man, that Conan sequence is re-donk-ulous, Matt!

Quick Story-
Was at the Chicago Con digging thru boxes when a guy comes up and asks the dealer "Do you have any double covers?". I turn to the guy and I say, "Joe?".
Turns it was gijoed with whom I've traded a lot of emails and some books. He set up a small booth at the con and was selling 2-packs, 3-packs, comics, and ephemera.
Had a lot of conversations with him and even gave him some GA double covers that I found and did not fit my collection.
Really funny guy. Told me his first book he ever bought off of the rack was JLA #21. He's trying to get the book in every possible CGC grade. 0.5 / 1.0 / 1.8 / 2.0 / 2.5 etc.
I saw him picking up about six copies of JLA #21 from the CGC booth. Had a beautiful looking 9.4
Also saw him subbing a book that he was hoping to get a 1.0, as he already have a 0.5. I told him the book looked too nice and he should rip off more of the back cover.
lol Great story and cool to finally meet a nemesis/colleague eh, Moon? (thumbs u

I'm really not into "ACEO" Trading Card art, but this was too decent to pass up for my $0.99 bid + a stamp!

Great stuff ~ fantastic "vault" area, eccomic!
Using the Craftsman tool storage unit for slabs/etc is a keen idea for some additional security... I may need to consider that.
