Batman 298 DC Comics Questionnaire insert
Jesse-Lee replied to mytastebud's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
I sold a Justice League with one of these last year for around $60 on eBay, and I bought a lot of Detective Comics that had a 476 (one of my favorite comic covers and stories) that had this insert. It doesn't seem to be as talked about as Mark Jeweler's variants, but there are collectors out there who go after these. -
Color touch removed?

Others have much more experience and can answer better, but my understanding in a case like this is that the CT-affected area is basically "scraped" away until the CT is no longer present. -
THOR 4: LOVE AND THUNDER directed by Taika Waititi (11/5/21)
Jesse-Lee replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
When it comes to comics, I'm a DC guy, but the trailer for Black Adam showed before Thor yesterday when we went to see it, and it looked horrible compared to even the most recent MCU offerings in my opinion... bums me out.- 959 replies

Jesse-Lee replied to fastballspecial's topic in Modern Age Comic Books
Looks like this one was supposed to be a pack-in with the Luthor vs. Skeletor set too, but it may have been a mail-away situation: https://www.ebay.com/itm/234615922023 Congrats on finding the DC Comics Presents copy!! -

I found an unboxing of the 2-pack from 2010 on YouTube, and the comic was in there - info on the comic is at the 4:30 mark: -

THOR 4: LOVE AND THUNDER directed by Taika Waititi (11/5/21)
Jesse-Lee replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
I just saw it today - I liked it. I thought the story was decent, Natlie Portman was great, Bale was great (although I agree I would have liked to see more of him). Definitely some goofiness, but I laughed throughout. I actually enjoyed it more than Multiverse of Madness.- 959 replies

I did find one on eBay that looks like yours, and the CGC note says it's the toy pack-in version: https://www.ebay.com/itm/175083915371?hash=item28c3d0886b:g:srMAAOSwbkdhyf4m -

This Week in Your Bronze Age Collection!!

Thanks! I believe the white marks in the black spine line to be removed color touch, which would explain the 6.5 since the rest of the book looks great. I was happy to finally get this book! -

Definitely a CTR copy - book looks really nice aside from that issue, which is obviously why it's a 6.5. Now that I have it in hand, I'm still 100% happy with my purchase, and that I now have matched-grade copies of Bats 232, 244 and 251.
