  1. Found this guy for $7! Edit to add: It's the Target exclusive ashcan - and my scanner is embarrassingly dirty - any spots or schmutz you see is from the scanner, this book is pristine!
  2. Picked up a decent small lot of TMNT for an ok price (paid $95 for the lot) - only need one more issue to complete my Vol 1 run (#53), and now I've got a decent start on a full Vol. 2 run (it's only 13 issues ). This is the error version of #13, where they accidentally swapped the front/back covers:
  3. Lucked into a great find and won the auction for these 3 books for $35:
  4. Final issue of TMNT Vol 2 - this is the error version, with the front and back covers switched:
  5. Found some nice deals recently, including a few harder-to-find TMNT books: This TMNT Vol 2 #13 is the error version, with the front and back covers swapped - here's a pic showing that the back cover is on the front of the book:
  6. Wow, Jesse Custer became the Punisher?? I kid! It's a super cool book (and I'm a huge Preacher fan) - I feel like Dillon just always has one face he draws...
  7. The Amazing Spider-man run in 2015, some decent, some minor but still worth it - 1st Silk, 2nd Spider-Gwen, 1st Spider-Punk, etc. Ultimate Fallout 4 and Edge of Spider-verse 2 are in that time-frame. The Cates Venom run (especially Venom 3). Marvel Hip-Hop variants of a number of books. Not major, but Skottie Young covers often sell for $5-20 (and sometimes more). Strange Academy. Darth Vader 3. Obviously Something is Killing the Children, the first few issues. Just off the top of my head. Edit to add: Also Stray Dogs (just kidding, unfortunately - I'm still stung by going all-in on those, although depending on what you paid per issue you can still make money).

  9. I've gone back and forth before and still completed the sale. Some people like to have the last word - and I actually like to wheel-and-deal - so I when I make a counter, I always assume they're going to come back at me with another counter and I build it in. If they don't, then it's a win-win, since they're getting a lower price but not necessarily my rock-bottom. And if they do, as long as it's still in the range I was looking for, I'm cool with it.
  10. I've heard that civet stuff is... pretty crappy...
  11. I'll let you know after I see if they have any more newsstands for sale...
  12. Yeah, it seems like if you're dealing with an artist (whose name is on the actual cover of the book), and they're saying "yes, I verify I drew these" while signing them in the presence of a CGC verifier, that should be enough to get a yellow label, right? If not, that seems crazy... Sweet covers by the way, I especially love the Joker one with Morty as Bob!
  13. Bummed I never saw them in concert. I remember when Use Your Illusion 1 & 2 came out though - I had a friend who wasn't allowed to buy them (her parents forbid it), so we got the cassettes and we'd listen to them in our other friend's basement or drive around for hours blasting the tunes.
  14. Were they affiliated with American Entertainment? I fondly remember getting those catalogs in the mail and even ordering from them a couple of times in the early 90s. They always had a great section with Cherry, Bettie Page, Milo Manara, etc. in addition to the "normal" comics.
  15. Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of my favorite video games I've ever played. If you're looking for a true western video game, that's the game for you.
