  1. Wow! Great pick up! It may be low grade, but still has good eye appeal - it's got some fading, but the FC is all there and let's face it, that's what's this book is all about. As for resto, you could see about getting the spine roll pressed out, but I'm not sure I would bother with anything else. Great book! That is one AMAZING cover And i would be of the opinion that you should keep it as it is, no resto on this one. But i am always of that opinion...
  2. Thank you! Also, very nice #30 MD! Great pick up! Merci back to the stats for a moment, the question is if we have seen the full price-impact on the issues with warehouse copies or if they will take a further drop? For instance i am lacking a Giant Sized X-men 1 but i can only see the price of that one dropping further (never reaching guide at the moment) with the amount of copies allready graded and rumours (some that i know of and others that are unconfirmed) of big warehouse finds of that book that hasnt been graded yet. Could very well be the same for some of the SA books. I would think that with the introduction of CGC most of the people sitting on many HG issues of the same book from warehouses would have, by now, came forward in the attempt of getting some 9.8's graded and make come quick money, but it is only guesswork.
  3. The red colours are preserved well on these two. 24 presents very well for grade, an annyoing stain in the LRFC ( I think it is actually from heat or a small burn) brings the grade down 28 aint bad either
  4. Some raw in the same batch... while not in the higher grade range of the crippen books, they still appear fresh with decent colours, and decent offwhite pages
  5. Apes, Good Girl's and Matt Baker... what more can a man want

  14. I think it is what some people live for. (looks at the post above his) What is really sick is when people make postings to celebrate that they have reached a certain postcount, dont you agree MK?

  20. 1) Finish my X-Men 144-201 run in 9.8+ - I just need three books (149, 182 & 198) 2) Be the first to complete a 9.8 run of Wolverine 1-189. This will be challenging since many issues currently have ZERO copies in 9.8. 3) Find 6-12 issues in my X-Men 94-143 run. 4) Possibly finish my X-Men 202-250 run in 9.8. Or at least make some pretty good progress so I can finish it in 2008. X-.men wise, resolution looks like: complete my raw X-men 1-66 run (missing 2-6, 8 11,12,13, 61-65) Complete my 94-143 run.. . (or advance ALOT and finish in 2008 ) buy slabbed 9.4 steranko covers 49-51 maybe i have a newfound GA love that will interfere with the above ... what to do what to do
  21. 8.5 is pretty highgrade for any fox book btw who was writing those stories? cant find any credits on -script on netiher zago nor zegra, tegra, rulah, zoot etc. I must admit i have never read any, but i figure that the stories suck and the art (especially baker or Kamen ) is the real treat
