  1. Ok, here are some nice ones just back from the boys in Sarasota.
  2. Not of those two issues. Sorry, I was thinking 9.8s of those issues and I don't have anymore. I do have a couple of 9.6s that are keepers anyday of the week and twice on Sunday... Here is one which is the double cover #8. I will have to dig up the other for a sacn.
  3. Yes, the inside cover has 30 cents on it. There are a few of the issues out there. Cosmic Spider-Man has a nicer one than this one but it is the most common issue I know with two or three examples. This is my favorite, so far...
  4. Here is an interesting set of Giant-Size X-Men 2s. Regular. Double Cover. Manufactured with Double Interior.
  5. Got another box back from CGC. Anyone need a nice set of Cheval Noirs? I thought that they were all no-brainers, maybe CGC has tightened some.
  6. I just got this one back - pretty excited about it. Then I looked it up on GPA and there only two copies and the other was the Suscha News 9.8 that sold last year for over $1000.
  7. I posted this in just back from CGC - pretty excited about it.
  8. This is real nice Fantastic Four double cover. Like X-Men 202 it is one of the issues where I have seen more than one double cover. CGC described the double cover but forgot to put "Double Cover" on the front or the top label.
  9. Bright yellow covered Golden Age books. Nice Ciorac.
  10. I am really stoked about this pair of books. CGC graded the first a qualified 9.8 because of Dave Steven's signature and numbering on the back cover, so I am including the scan of the back cover. It's twin is a regular 9.8, and I like the sequential numbering.
  11. It is always fun to get a box back from CGC. I went through my Dave Stevens books and tried to pick out copies that would go 9.8. So here are the ones that let me down, but it is hard to be disappointed with a great Dave Steven's cover. Black Angel's have been tough - I think the jet black back is a killer. This book was signed by Stevens and Silke. I am not sure if the signatures affected the grade, but Stevens signature books are sweet.
  12. Changed setting to Public - I remember ever changing my Photobucket settings but there have been some changes on that site. Hopefully, that fixes it.
  13. Yes, that is a yes. The only major disadvantage of getting CGC to grade and slab a double cover is (like being unable to see the interior of a regular book) you can't see the inner cover. However, you get all the advantages of a CGC slab including a terrific way to store a really nice book PLUS the authentication that there has not been any "book doctoring" going on in terms of marrying the covers. I collect double covers of several runs and have only been taken a couple of times. It is a pi$$er though when you get one back like this "double cover".
  14. Here is a really strange one - definately the lowest graded INNER cover on a double cover that I have seen.
  15. Triples, Quads, Quints... They are all allowed. I missed this issue pretty badly in the March Madness grading contest, which is pretty embarassing because I have a pretty good reference standard on it.
