Why is Imperium 7 selling outno....
cause it's a continuation of the divinity story line in the Imperium title which has a smaller print run...
Also some of the speculator websites have picked up on that fact...
One of my LCS owners told me the comic was being delayed until next week, along with some others including Fade Out. I was definitely interested in getting this one in it being Divinity's next appearance after the mini, and was one of the first in the door to try and get one. I have also noticed that (last I checked, at least) it is not in stock on Midtown or MCS websites even for pre-order.
9 Stores in Central Florida got 0 copies, I bet it was Allocated, and has already shown a 2nd print offered by one place I called trying to track it down today.
Called in a favor at one of my back up ordering spots, have 2 copies of cover A and 1 cover B on the way.
Cannot find a 1:20 and one sold for cheap on eBay today that I missed while at work.
Serious heat on this one really fast, bet the print run was low like Divinity #1.
I doubt they would allocate like that. I would imagine that some of the Diamond warehouses got it in and shipped it out and others didn't and it will be in next week. Just hold your horses before you declare it hot. It will cool when it fully ships.

Aggressive pricing usually means the opposite. If a book is priced a good deal higher than current market value, it is priced aggressively.
Aggressive in my case meant just as I said. Dealer pricing to sell.
I think Pontoon is right.
When I see a low priced book, I dont think "Oh look at this aggressively priced book"
I’ve been collecting for 40 years. I have friends who are dealers, and talk to a lot of people who sell comics and collectibles and have never, ever heard anyone refer to a book that’s priced to move (i.e. cheaply) as being priced aggressively, just the opposite. A book that’s priced aggressively is testing the boundaries of the market. However, if folks wish to use the word according to their own personal definition that’s up to them.
What DP said. I have never heard anyone say pricing anything low is pricing it aggressively ( I mean this for collectibles, real estate, cars, etc). If you price things low you are usually "pricing to sell/priced to sell" or something like that.

So WTF happened to Transformers #1 CGC 9.8? I bought my copy 4 years ago for $250 (sold it about a year later) now people are asking over $900? What am I missing?
Jerome
Nothing. They are just asking. Pretty sure they are not selling any where near that.
Agreed. GPA is $312 for 90 days, $292 for a year and the last sale is $300 (I bought it). Everyone needs to stop comparing asking prices to realized sales.

He mentioned that the limit will be 25 for the public sale. I would guess it is 12 EST, but who really knows.
-
I am pretty sure they'll combine shipping charges.
. I am sure if you keep ordering one book at a time, you can expect to pay shiping on each order. IT is going to be way, way more cost/time effective to wait until the Midnight timeframe to order multiples.

I am pretty sure that bryan23 is a boardie. No idea if they are related.

Is there any kind of list that says how much longer they are making the Secret Wars covers? Don't get me wrong…they're awesome, but I really hope it's ending now.
I'm almost at the same point with the Star Wars ones too.
I just saw the October solicitations and they have about 10-15 Marvel AF Superhero Covers (some Secret Wars and many of the new #1s) and the usual Star Wars cover. I would imagine the SW covers will continue indefinitely. They made over 100 original action figures and they have the 2nd trilogy, new trilogy, clone wars, Rebels, etc. if they really want to keep milking it.

Looks like Roche Limit from Image was optioned. It never really had any heat, so it is pretty cheap.
-
Looks like they showed a Marvel Legends Spider-Gwen figure at SDCC. More traction for SG in the mainstream.
-
I don't think I've ever seen an action figure with that much chest hair.
Check out some newer WWE figures (King Kong Bundy, Razor Ramon, Shawn Michaels, etc.).
-
Further to my above point, I have 10 copies of Spider Gwen #1 right now. With a relaunch coming are they going to be worthless? I bought them meaning to resell and then was too lazy to, so they've been sitting in a long box for months
No idea. Since it only went 5 issues is this considered a mini?
The book has never been worth more than $3. How were you going to resell it already?

what store?Wow, you guys are all over those 5 below packs like youve never seen comics before. Talk about hype.. and people complain about optioned characters for movies as hype..some dude posts a picture of 3-4 mediocre books that are selling ok at the moment bagged in plastic and everyone is out looking for bigfoot
My friend found 7 Ramos variants and 13-15 other 1:50/1:175 variants on the covers of decent books in one store in Chicago. He said they had about 100 total packs.
He lives in Elmhurst. I would assume the closest one. I will ask later today.

Appearantly, your friend did a million times better than the past 5-6 posters here who found nothing. So what does that tell us?
And here are some moderns that are/will be heating up by tomorrow:
Congrats Jason!
I hit 3 by me and didn't find anything as well. I was just pointing out that it was possible to find some decent stuff.

No one will ever change their minds about this subject so may as well drop it. The tennis match is getting boring.

The Captain Marvel Action Figure Variant is sold out at midtowncomics.com
That one was very hard to obtain per my LCS. He said he wasn't even close to being able to order it.

So what's next to come out? Lando and...? Who's the next "Regular" SW cover and next Secret Wars cover? I think I'm caught up.
Are they doing a Lando AF variant for the regular series? Marvel has a Lando mini coming. I figured (no pun intended) that they would save the variant for the mini. I guess they'll have to go with Lobot.
I think Lando 1 and 2 both have an AF cover and ship in the same month.

Looks like disciples #1 is already on the up on ebay. Keep an eye on this tomorrow. Went to one store today and they only ordered one copy so might be an under order issue.
Already has a TV deal with Wes Craven attached. Steve Niles+Low print run+TV Deal should=cash monies.

A "Spider-Gwen" movie? Keep dreaming guys.
-J.
Is it really not a possibility? Honest question.
I would think the studios do not care that the bulk of th general public has no knowledge of several Spider-Woman's and alternate universes. They see Emma and the dollar signs that follow her. (I don't really have a dog in it since I only have one EOSV copy.) If they can fade out mutants can they upset a few die hard fans and get away with it? I think the $100 million opening weekend would make them forget about that. No?
I'm obviously not a studio head, but if I were, I certainly would not gamble $100M+ on a completely unknown property that is essentially identical to another property I just screwed up, and even less so after I just cried uncle on the flagship character and basically turned creative control back over to another studio.
Also, Emma Stone is not a "star". She's a decent actress but she doesn't open or carry movies.
-J.
Emma Stone is most certainly a star and Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man, etc. prove that you can make a superhero movie without that much built in fanbase. I certainly don't have any idea how plausible this idea actually is and I don't want to give credence to this lot of speculation. I just don't see how you can dismiss this as not being a possibility with the way Marvel is hyping the character up and how easy it is to get the snowball rolling for something like this.

Just going through my "To Buy" list of action figure variants for this week. I wanted to make sure I didn't miss any.
Secret Wars 3 (who is on the cover?)
Star Wars (R2-D2)
Amazing Spiderman Renew your Vows (who is on the cover?)
Am I missing any?
Secret Wars 3 is Doc Ock and Renew your Vows is classic Spidey. Those are the 3 these week and FWIW the Renew your Vows one was harder to reach the point to order it. Some shops wont have any in stock because they couldn't get there. I don't think it will necessarily be rare, but might have a smaller print run than the average AF Variant from this line.
-
Besides C3PO what action figure variants came out yesterday. I didn't see any others at my LCS
Wolverine - Secret Wars 2
Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles Morales) - Ultimate End 1
Black Panther - Battleworld 1
Deadpool - Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars 1
I think Wolverine came out last week.
