  1. There are guys on eBay selling perfect-looking counterfeits of key Golden, Silver and Bronze Age books for many years with zero restraint. How many of these has CGC graded and cased as 9.8's so far I wonder? Might be time for getting them reholdered as 9.9s/10s.
  2. GCG's guarantee to you: "We could have sworn that Marvel Value Stamp was there when we graded it. Probably. Either way it's not our fault and you can't prove anything. On an unrelated note, here's a Marvel Value Stamp redeemable for $5 off your next submission."
  3. Secretive lot, aren't they? The only thing transparent about them is the plastic they use.
  4. For books that sold in the millions, they sure are "rare" now!
  5. Poor Don was up against and compared to Kirby and Ditko. If he'd been at DC comics instead back then, would have been fine.
  6. Damn right. Not everyone lives in the USA. I'm not paying untold hundreds in postage to send my books halfway around the world and back for CGC's negligence. Also, who wants to risk a reholder with those guys? That's where this entire debacle began.
  7. Yes. They should at least send Comicwiz a Hulk #181 for his efforts. MVS included, preferably.
  8. A year or two ago CGC stopped doing label notes, but only briefly because there was a massive backlash against it. But there must be some incomplete low grade books out there that aren't noted as being incomplete.
  9. OK, thanks again. So does this mean there could be incomplete blue label books out there from the time when CGC stopped doing label notes? If so, there'd be no way of knowing if an internal piece was missing...?
  10. Yes. The world is coming to an end vs this will all blow over soon. I suppose both could be true, really.
  11. That's true, just wonder how he's been able to source a steady stream of them non-stop at the right price for at least 10 years now. Good luck to him!
  12. Indeed... why would anyone NOT request a blue label on an incomplete book if that's an option? Seems not to be quite right.
  13. I think the question there is how does the guy have a seemingly inexhaustible supply of those particular keys (and others)?
  14. Right, but you call me a 'clown' and a 'doofus' after you made a bunch of accusatory comments about things I never said or even vaguely implied or considered ... you're on ignore. Maybe after you've slept off your big night you can come back and apologise.
  15. So what if it is? I never once mentioned or implied the prospect of 'marrying', YOU did. Go sleep it off.
  16. No, I wondered why someone had several of them for sale. I gather that whoever buys them does so to have a have a piece of an historic comic... simple as that. Where did you get all that BS about people gluing them back into the comic??? You are off your face.... I get that it's probably still New Years Eve wherever you are, but I think you've had enough
  17. Why are you quoting me as saying things I never said? Such as: I did not say that, and if you did you need to sober up. Makes no sense, bud.
  18. The hell are you on about? I never remotely implied anything to do with anyone gluing an MVS back into a book. Your questions don't make sense, take a deep breath and try again.
