  1. Just incredible! Almost shed a tear. Just trying to picture the collaboration work on this between Steve and Stan. The notes on the margin were just so so special!
  2. Cover wise, I prefer TOS #39. Has that mystique appeal about who or what is behind all that iron. Also, the cover screams the 60's.
  3. Good time to be unloading some books in this blazing hot market

  5. Well, just a fyi, Goldin Auctions (one of the premier sports cards and Pokemon auction house) are currently taking consignments for comics books, video games, and any other pop culture collectibles for their quarterly auctions. They are also doing a referral program, so if you know anyone that may be interested in consigning with them, they can cut you a check.
  6. 53k $16,250 and 125k $29,250 respectively. pretty sure thats the most ever paid for a 4.0. dunno bout the 6.5 copy but that sounds pretty rich as well. Fixed for you
  7. Congrats to both! It's an incredible book to own!!! Tough to find too nowadays.
  8. I'm just going to sick back and chill and not let FOMO get the best of me. Hopefully the price I'd want to pay for some books will come to me. Not going to be chasing.
  9. Thats a great price!!! Someone should nab this beauty!!
  10. Yup it is true. A lot of the higher end basketball cards like the 86 Fleer Jordan have lost its value from their highs just a month or so ago. Goldin Auction was the one that sold the PSA 10 Jordan for a record $750k (I think they even had 2 PSA 10's at that time). Now it seems like PSA 10's are sinking and may level at around $250k (still a high from last year when they were selling for around $150k). And it also moved over to lower grades in the 9's, 8's etc selling for less now. The hype from the Jordan ESPN "Last Dance" documentary may have played a role in the quick hike-up in price. And we are not talking just Jordan rookies, but also other higher profile cards like 2003 chrome Lebron base and refractors, 96 kobe chrome, etc. Simply put, there is a lot of supply for these cards and market cannot sustain those godly sale prices long term. I have a feeling once the NBA season ends in a few months, the drop will continue...
  11. Yep those 3 plus Marvel 1 would be my top choices to have in my collection. Bravo! Those are beauties!
  12. Just do eenie meenie miney mo between Heritage, CL, or CC. Can't go wrong with any of them.
  13. My copy is unrestored. Has the covers detached from the interior, but not split. Those are some nice books you had back in the day! At least you have some great memories you'll always have back then of your books.
