You'd be surprised but it seems the "younger" generation and people who just started getting into comics want a piece of the old time classic key books whether golden age or silver age. I was scrolling through facebook and instagram the other day in comic book groups and I see more and more younger people buying/collecting/selling vintage comics. I think the success with the superhero movies have played some role in it as well as the popularity of comic conventions.

Speaking of the homeless, it seems it has spiked up big time. Practically in every freeway exit I always see a homeless person with a cardboard sign asking for money. A lot of the busy streets are littered with tents, sleeping bags, shopping carts on the sidewalk and such. Doesn't matter if the area is lower or higher class, it's everywhere.

Yeah look what their doing to this world I think the world is actively engaging in measures to rid itself of a few of us...., It's the only way to keep the human population in check. Heck, Thanos had to do it too!

Are you kidding me or are you joking? If you ship out slabs in just a plastic envelope and foam wrapped around I would never want to buy a slabbed book from you or anyone who does this.

Amazing man 10 years!!! I wish we can go back 10 years ago so I can pickup a Tec 27 myself hehe.. Still being positive and optimistic that I have the chance to own a complete copy someday.

Here in So Cal, I go to a store called Box City. They have every possible box size imaginable and complete shipping and packaging supplies.

I need to know Fish, how do you feel whenever you hold and look at your Tec 27?

I called paypal yesterday about this new change and yes it will happen next month. I asked why they will no longer refund the 3%, they said it had something to do with the new tax laws in effect and how they're the only major business that refunds the 3% fee, others apparently do not do that. Oh and there will still be Paypal friends and family, nothing will change of that.

My question is, how did the thieves know that Harley has something valuable inside his vehicle? Did the vehicle have his dealer name on it "Harley Yee Rare Comics" or something like that? If so, then he was broadcasting out publicly that he is a dealer of valuable comics. Was he followed after the show? I'm hoping there is some sort of security cameras that may have caught what had happened that may lead to identify these scumbags. That's a lot of books stolen from him. Really hope he gets all of them back

Rick is and always will be the man ...... steered me away from a 4.5 ext (P) frankenbook at the time and hooked me up with this beauty, couldn't be happier. So fair to fellow boardies and so damn knowledgeable. Hope he recovers from his recent disaster, just too good a dude not to !! Agreed 10000%!

Seems about right, Nice looking copy minus the detached and separated covers. I would be worried about the placement of the front cover, could get damaged if left that way.

Yeah I agree with Peter that Tec 38 had already exploded in price and is doing very well compared to what about 3-5 years ago where copies sold for a bargain compared to pre-robin Tecs.
