During the last days of his life, Rex was not content to rest in his crate at night. I initially misunderstood. He would pace, and cry and scratch. I would let him out. Take him outside but that is not what he wanted. In these last days, I tried something. I placed his bed beside mine and there at last he found a restful sleep. How is it they know? How can he come to find me, close at hand, by my side to the end? In his final days, he slept by my side, sweet dreams of a good boy. Woof woof, lick lick, good boy.

From @mycomicshop received (3) today.
Amazing Adventure - not a very good copy of a "9.6". Sad. I will be looking for a better copy.
Tomb of Dracula - I won this with a low bid, an accident. For days, I did not realize I actually won it as I think I was tied with someone else. I did not get a "you won, pay now notice". It was very weird. Not until I went to buy another book was I able to see it in my Purchase cart. I will likely crack this out and keep as my raw copy.
Destroyer Duck - historic book for Groo and Destroyer Duck 1st but also Neal helping the artist community. Neal was a good guy in that way. Crusty Bunkers was another example of helping the community. This will need to be added to the Neal - Indie registry set some day. I have a long list of fixes and additions that I should send to CGC.

From WorldWide Comics. Thank you Sharon!!
The Brave and the Bold has sat on their website for years. I have almost purchased it many times. I finally completed the transaction mostly because I was tired of looking at it behind the screen. Brought it home.
The Strange Adventures should grade at least a 9.4, maybe 9.6.

Yikes. Got back a 12-book submission from CGC. Some are keepers, some are to be sold and some are just until I get the chance to upgrade.
Adventures in Leather!! Not as sexy as it sounds. One to sell and one to keep.
Aurora - nice.
Detective Comics - awesome!!
House of Secrets - bought from @Dale Roberts raw!
Phantom Stranger 14, at one point I owned a 9.8, passed up a second one and now...... it's a start.
B&Bold - missed the stain.
DC Special - tough book to find in high grade. Cream pages?; I will likely crack & burn it.

Received this from the Fantast Collection and the Fantast store itself. There was a bit of a mix up and they worked with me to make everything right. Even sent a free t-shirt!! Very happy with their books and customer support.
And this copy, Brave and the Bold 81 CGC 9.6 White pages is sweet!! Dark green cover and Adams interior artwork makes this very special. For some reason it does not quite get the normal Batman love, but it will get the Dover love for certain!

Neal Adams database compiled by Dover
in Dover's Journal

I am on a business trip and updating and adding to the database. It now has 1450 entries (not including paperbacks and advertising). I am also creating a WantList to match using @mycomicshop and it is currently at 33 pages. As far as I can tell, they have the most comprehensive package for creating a wantlist, research and information available anywhere. I wonder if it would be possible to export and share a created "wantlist"? I am really showing the geek side but this Neal guy drives me crazy and it is hard to get into trouble working on the computer.
