  1. Thanks for the link. The statue has amazing detail for something that small.
  2. Nope, found them Here but without the cool Batman figure. What is that?
  3. Maybe he went on vacation with his family. I have faith he will be back. Hey gang, Yep, we're on vacation. Having lots of fun at the beach. I'll be back home Saturday. We'll be having some relatives visiting for a few days but I expect I'll start posting again early next week. Have a great summer! Oooh Yeah!
  4. Hmmm. That setup looks awfully familiar - especially the ducting that plunges through the "second from top" shelf... Just where have I seen that before?
  5. Bangzoom, Bangzoom, wherefore art thou Bangzoom?
  6. Very nice. Love the BTAS stuff. Hope this helps too:
  7. I'd probably have bought them. I am a sucker for anything of that nature.
  8. The real deal Emancipation Proclamations? I am very impressed! Strangely, I am an American Civil War buff ( I know it is odd - but no queerer than an Agincourt re-enactor or a 1066 enthusiast in the U.S.) Been to Gettysburg a couple of times and other relevant sites as well. But that's for another time. Don't want to derail the thread.
  9. Hey Marveljunkie!! How come all the boomerangs around reprints of the Chicago Tribune? You been out thisaway? Great rooms and I am sooo motivated at the moment.
  10. OK, I have read the issue and cannot find any reference to the Hallmark greeting thing. There are about 45 pages of pure O.C. and Stiggs madness and I don't have a problem scanning them (it'll make a pretty big attachment) but I just don't think they are the ones you want. I have got a lot of other Nat Lamps (almost complete run) so I am going to have a little reunion with them and see if I can find the article your after. I know it is almost 22.00 there (it is midday here) so I'll understand if you don't post for a while. Ooh Yeah
  11. OK I have the issue, but the entire thing seems to be an OC and Stiggs issue. It'll take me a little while to find the part you are after. I am on the case!!
  12. I am old enough to remember the Flintstones as a first run cartoon but I have never seen this book. A dollar for a comic book in 1961
  13. No no no no no. This will never do. I am sure we haven't seen the best of BZ's books yet and the thread has dropped from the front page. I have no choice but to: and give yet some more to someone who is fast becoming my favourite poster C'mon BZ, stop holding out on us!
  14. Cruel? I think it's great! I love that you've been able to wall mount and display the Marvel Legends figures (why is there a space top left corner in the spread?). As for getting another room to play with eventually, you too will discover that your stuff expands to fill whatever space is available. Still a little concerned that there is no love for D.C. here, but given your handle I can understand. Well done!
  15. Very nice Rusty. Another idea from this thread I intend to ------ adapt.
  16. Now, I cannot countenance this wonderful thread dropping from the first page so.... And c'mon BZ, post some more pretty books
  17. I'l agree, this is by far the purest thread for the collector going. There's no subtext or hidden agenda going on, just a generous collector having a ball showing his collection and treating us all to some beautiful comics and pulps and books. It's a rare treat and an even rarer glimpse at a lot of books some of us might never have the chance to see. Thank's again BZ! You're a good sport. Hear Hear. I don't post much but be assured I visit daily to view the generous BZ and his wonderful books.Keep up the terrific work.
  18. GREAT room.I love that Poster holder/display thingy that is wall mounted. Hmmmm. More ideas to steal....
  19. You are killing me here Russ. Where are you getting them from? I mean a 9.8 Capt Savage? These were not even collectable 30 years ago. I mean no-one was interested (except me, I did get a run but nothing like that grade). And the Williamson Flash Gordon. One book I would seriously consider busting out and reading. I mean it is Al Williamson. Ditto the Wood Capt Action. My dream is to get a high grade book like that and pose the good Captain's action figure with it. Sigh Anyway
  20. I stayed up till 2 this very A.M. inhaling this thread. Bangzoom knows exactly what he is doing - so keep on doing it you good thing.
  21. AArgh. A cracked case. Another risky trip around the world for this poor little pedigree. That aside, congratulations Russ on a key BA pedigree.
