Call them. Sounds like a accounting issue. Emailing them is a joke...

you were right, since my submission was so old the system was trying to charge new subgrade rates and it wasn't matching my submission. so the whole thing just sat in limbo. for over a month. I wonder at what point they would have let me know there was an issue, or if they'd just keep everything forever

  2. if you think that's bad,

    Service: Standard (20 Days)

    date delivered: 11/06/2020

    Date received into system: 11/16/2020

    Current Status: Scheduled for grading

    Today is

20th business day since its been received into system

26th business day since delivered to CGC

39th calendar day since delivered to CGC

I expect another week at least at this rate, and doubt I will get them back before Christmas, which these were supposed to be Christmas gifts.

The way they write their SLA, they are still inside of 20 days as they start the clock once it's 'received' in the system.  All the grading co's seem to fudge the stats by not starting the clock until it's been fully 'received'.  There's a guy above that was received the same day and his are graded/sent, so that 11/16 day must be close to the processing point for standard submissions right now.  Hoping more 'bulk' orders get posted so we can see what those look like.

Where are the SLA agreements that state this?

every other company is clear up front stating delays in opening and receiving in packages. not CGC

So, I was just curious that if I were to send my new PSA 9 card to be graded by GCG instead (to match my other cards), is there an option ensure that the PSA slab will only be cracked once the grader is almost certain that they would be grading it at minimum of a 9.

I know that PSA and BGS offer this service after looking at their submission forms but after looking at CGCs it seems like minimum grading isn't an option unless I missed something?

not advised, PSA is very "loose" with grading. a PSA 10 can be off centered 60/40 and still qualify as a 10. this will not be the case for a CGC graded card. a PSA 9 will probably transfer over to CGC at a 7-8.

  5. When should I start to worry when my Sub is not entered into the system yet?

my Tracking shows my sub was delivered on 11/06 and it is not in my account yet.

my first bulk sub (30 day) took 26 calendar days. this standard sub (20 days) is already 10 calendar days in with no info.

the last 2 subs I've done have both been entered into the system the day or the day after tracking shows delivered.

    thanks!
