  1. I won't get mad just because you didn't read the whole thread before posting the above accusatory statement. Here's my first post after Shieldagent jumped the gun: I read this three times, and the irony just beckoned me to post... I have tried to be patient, but your sheer arrogance and hypocritical posting in this thread is just wrong. Now, would you like to explain not only why you have ignored my invoice sent on 10/29 for the books you BIN’d, but why you have not responded to the four reminders I have sent just requesting your shipping information and preferred method of payment? ya know, before we get to probation level or whatever garbage you are spouting? No offense but here was my PM record: If you emailed me after this, that might be the problem. I couldn't use my normal gmail on signup here and created another email account with my ISP, charter. It was supposed to autoforward, but I don't think I've ever received anything through it. Couldn't you just PM me? I think I can provide you with a ton of people I've purchased from here who can attest to my quick payments. Truthfully, I had forgotten about these books when I didn't get an invoice. If you emailed and I didn't get it, use a PM next time. If you PM'd and can point me to where that was, I'll give a public mea culpa right here. Otherwise, pound sand. Your move. In summary, I did ask for a total. I was in the middle of a selling thread and dealing with buyers. When I didn't get an invoice, I forgot about it. It's happened just recently as well. Bought something from Pirate. He forgot to invoice me and I forgot to ask for one as well. He PM'd me to apologize and we'll be closing that deal soon as well. Hope that clears it up for you. Of course, you could have PM'd me and I'd have been glad to have explained it to you also. I thought i did read the whole thing. So many pages i got lost. Sorry about that Thanks for summing it up for the dumb!
  2. The part i dont get is...if you won the comics weeks and weeks ago...you never PMed the seller asking for what the total was? You just sat around after saying you would take the books and did nothing? Something smells bad there.
  3. 11000 i think. I have lost track. I need to count the boxes again. My wife might say too damn many!
  4. For me It is a tie between Rocket Racer and Slyde!!!
  5. Punisher Spiderman Wolverine Iron Fist Lobo...come on DC comics!!! Do something with this one!!!!
  6. Sellers prerogative really. This thread serves as a warning to sellers and buyers of potential problem children. What they do with that information is up to them. Then they are on Probation from what? Nothing. Rename the thread "the bad buyer warning thread" It means nothing to be put on this list! Side note: Thanks to CD4ever for going light on that Millie the Model for me on Ebay…you didn’t really miss anything $18. "fine+" CD4ever is a True Gentleman Well, it's not like any of you guys would ever be on this list . . . No, i know my limits now. When i first joined this message board...i posted my whole Want List in a thread. Needless to say i got flooded with PMs from people who had tons of comics i was looking for. Some people who i told i would buy books from got lost in the shuffle. Now i know not to post the whole thing any more but to send my whole want list to one person at a time! (thumbs u

  8. I agree. But Probation to me is you cant buy anything. Your out of the game for a few innings. And again i have seen people who are on this list throw up a (i will take it). I think everyone has to say they will not deal with these people on this list selling comics for the time they are on this list. Even if you say "i am sooooooooo sorry for stringing the selling along and wasting his time like i did". Then this thread makes more sense!
  9. Nothing really. Has anyone ever refused people buying anything from them in sales threads because of them being on this list? I have seen someone throw up a (i will take it) while they are on this list. I was wondering to myself if that sale went Ok or did the seller say beat it to the buyer?
  10. Then just tell it to greggy. Vince, you remind me of school in the summer time: NO CLASS. Fat Albert
  11. Bring it!!! There never was a Cap Freak??? I am lost!
  12. Maybe Cap Freak is Doctor Watsons Doppelganger???....The plot thinkens!!!! And Greggy knows it all....scary.

  14. Kudos to Jeranimal for a GCG 3.0 SS Stan Lee FF #1, came down a bit in the price, great packing, great person to deal with! Never thought i would own a copy of this comic...now i can stare at MY copy. Feels nice!!!! Thanks a lot Jerry!!!
  15. Ripped front cover!!! That is a deal breaker!!! That is a shame...looked like such a clean copy. And that kills me too when you go out of your way to ask the seller of an item you have been looking for to ship it a certain way and then you get the manilla envelope with nothing else in the mail. I always think twice whenever the seller says nm for a grade. Sorry about the rip...are you asking for a refund or just writing it off? Congrats on this one. I had every intention of winning that auction but then totally forgot to bid. I was ready to go triple digits if necessary. That's a book I almost never see in any kind of grade. Thanks for the kind words. I turned down a seller who offered me a CGC 9.0 copy of this a couple years ago. I wanted a nice copy badly, but I thought his asking price was too much and figured I would come across another. I haven't seen a nice copy for sale since. When I saw it on ebay, I placed a snipe bid immediately. Hopefully, it looks nice when I have it in my hands. I'll make a new post when I get it. Incidently, I don't remember the seller's name with the CGC 9.0, but if you are reading this, Well, I just received the book, and I'm grateful nobody else bid because I would have overpaid badly. There is a tear in the lower left hand corner. It must have been hidden in the scan. It's the first thing I saw when I picked it up. This seller. He states in the description, that shipping in a box is $9.95. His invoice is for $6.95. I send him $15 for shipping and request he packages the book with care. He ships it in a manilla envelope between two pieces of cardboard and the book is sticking out from the cardboard in two spots. What a "spoon" Anybody out there with a nice copy: PLEASE
  16. Already have 2 fine range copies...maybe cd4ever Even fine copies are few and far between!!!!
  17. Nice looking copy! I was thinking about bidding on that one too! You never see it come up for sale!!! Looks better then my fine copies!!! I was expecting triple digits!!! Not a bad price at all if it looks as good in hand!! Congrats on this one. I had every intention of winning that auction but then totally forgot to bid. I was ready to go triple digits if necessary. That's a book I almost never see in any kind of grade.
