Yeah thats what I been trying to say but unless u agree with this dude that his behavior is ok, then he doesnt listen. My issue with him is his irrational behavior. These bogus conspiracy theories are so cringy and so immature that its just painful to read.

I also found that dudes youtube channel just by searching cgc pokemon and looking for the time stamp. Not going to share it but I have no clue why the guy was so afraid of sharing it. Its just his wife or kids showing the cards and barely saying anything. Comments are also disabled, so yea...not seeing what hes even talking about them being "pro cgc" when there isnt much being said or really any content in the first place.

Lastly, going over his grades, I dont see what the big deals are since most of them are over 9s minus a few of them. Second, those cards arent that rare. Most of what was graded was mass produced and are easy to get if you live in Japan or can export from there. Outside of the mewtwos, pikachus and the starters, its not really worth grading most of it. Also this dude graded a common japanese WATER ENERGY, a COMMON PIKACHU FROM HIDDEN FATES, like come on. At that point I feel zero sympathy when your grading junk.

you have no clue.     Look at the bottom corners,  Now go find some on ebay.    LOL

Actually yea. I graded comics and studied how and bought books and looked at CGC pictures for 17 years. Just about three years ago I finally felt confident enough to talk with fellow collectors so I joined the thread and try my best to shed light on an approximate grade as best I can. And when I’m wrong I love to learn why...it’s why I love when people come back with an update effect sending books in :)

    great.

You might legitimately think you have a grievance.  My opinion is you resolve said grievance privately with the alleged party, who caused you harm or offense.  Airing your dirty laundry so to speak and doing it in a haphazard fashion on a public forum will typically invite scorn, ridicule, jokes and mocking.  I am not sure how much advanced thought you put into this posting but there are much better avenues and forms of redress then what you did here.  I mean no offense esp. to a stranger.  I just think more forethought and mindfulness would have better assisted you to the ends you hoped to achieve.  IMO CGC is a standout and incredibly professional honest business.   I see no personal animus between them and anyone who submits items for grading.  You are taking a huge leap of faith if not making a bold unfounded assumption by connecting dots that are in fact likely unconnectable. Again my 2-cents. :preach:

you are 99% correct.   But if you been following my posts (other posts) .  This submission problem has been going on for a couple of months.   The 1% might be this situation.  No movement had been made thru email or phone prior to my posting this week.   The problem has been solved.  It may have been miscommunication within CGC from CS or email.  The holiday season may have effected my email communication during the holiday seasons.  I know that was on reason the lady who first got my emails never followed thru., she was on "vacation" possibly.

Paul handled the situation great.   I should just contact him directly next time.

You have a valid opinion for what you know actually happen and trying to fill in the empty parts of the problem.

    No problem.

    9.2-9.4

That small back edge bend might press out. And like others, if CGC treats those small bottom edge tears as manufacturing tears (which they appear to be), then 9.4 seems most definite, with a shot at 9.6

how long you been grading comics?   2 years? 5 years?  you sound like your under 30.  take a long time to figure grading.

The flippers I dont care about since everyone trying to hustle. I cant stand the lack of respect anyone has. People think just because they have an internet connection means that nobody is human and they can treat people like garbage. Most people on those groups are resellers and instead of minding their own business, everyone wants to attack each other and relive high school drama instead of staying in their lane. I tried using the Virbank group to move some products for market rate but too many tight wads with an attitude.

And yeah I guess if you really want a CGC slab then it will pass grading. It will just get some low grade like a 3 or 4 probably. Maybe a 2 but Ive sent in some pretty banged up cards and lowest grade Ive gotten is 1.5 (which felt generous).

You have to look in the mirror and respect yourself first.  Flippers most likely have the same mentality as you and grade anything.

I hear you but sometimes we must ignore the ranters, ravers, finger-pointers, aggravators, distractors and inane posturers online.  Prior to the internet people sat down and wrote their grievances on paper, which often (but not always) lead to more personal consultation, insight, contemplation and consideration by the author, who wrote to a much smaller audience too.  Nowadays just about anyone can spew any form of grievance, hatred, bigotry, stupidity and self-loathing they want by simply clicking their mouse and tapping away on their keyboard.  We choose who to ignore and we choose whom to reply to online.  In the end this is all meaningless chatter, which is like grains of sand on an endless and isolated windswept beach. My 2-cents. :preach:

prior to the internet, people talked to each other face to face.  That is why everything was settled correctly.   No peanut gallery remarks or  flexing.   It just got settled because that was the right thing to do.

Thats good to know. I personally just cant tolerate abusive customers and tell them to walk if they cant be reasonable. I cant imagine how this guy was on the phone with them lol. All that aggravation over Pokeman cards. Unbelievable. I cant imagine how this dude would react if something serious went down in his life.

And again, if this guy has a condition that he cant control, I apologize, but at the same time its not ok to be treating a business or any human being like that. And if he had a condition, at least tell us something is going on since if not we just have to assume your kind of nuts and a bad person.

Feel free to ask who i talked to on the phone and how i talked.   You all here have no clue of the complete submission story.   So you get talked to the same way you post,  Clueless.

Yup, i am aggressive in real life.  Treat everyone accordingly.

  8. Paul handled the situations great,   He knows the whole story.   I am still not  fully satisfied, but the way he handled it was great.  So it was acceptable solution.

Remember. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

Good job Paul .    Check out my families Youtube channel.

CGC Feel free to close or delete this thread .

Due to members that have no idea of what happened posting useless solutions based off not even being involved with this submission.

I will continue to belittle these people with no idea what they are talking about.

  9. you all think i when off just last night.  Why dont you look at how long i been asking about this submission before last night.   Think about the whole picture and take your ... out of you zsw.    This submission was from Oct 2020.  Been asking about this sub thru email and phone for 2 months..

Please contact CGC and tell them to put YOUR Submission on the 2 months extra list because you dont care if anything is late.  All you peanut gallery fools need to understand everything before yapping.

And yes, i am even more aggressive in real life.

Its not a matter of being right or wrong. Its your behavior. My problem with you is how you been on here raging like a child instead of dealing with these people in private. Your a grown man yet your acting like you have the mind of a 5 year old. Its just not ok to act that way regardless if you have a point or not. Its not professional and I wouldnt in a million years do business or keep doing business with someone who acts that way.

LOL, feeling better?   now go suck your thumb in the corner . "timeout".  lol

I miss the good old days to where people didnt go on the internet acting like lunatics just because they didnt get exactly what they wanted.  There was a time when people had to learn to speak like a human being to a business to get anywhere. Now you can just rage on social media and people give you attention. Not just with cards but with anything.

The one thing Im bothered with in this industry is the lack of professionalism and this thread is proof of that. Regardless if you think your right or wrong, there is a right way of handling it. You dont mindlessly spam garbage 100 times and refuse to listen to logic. Not sure where this person was raised or who brought them up, but its just not acceptable behavior and really wish CGC didnt cave in. If it was my business, Id tell the dude to take a hike since there are plenty of rational, calm, mature, and less aggressive people willing to do business.

A fool that is afraid of doing what is right will just be quite.  Grow some.  Of course there is two sides to every story. i can tell you, the truth is probably in the middle.

so all you fools can stand extremely to one side, you are most likely wrong, no matter what you post or think.

Paul has his explanation, i have my explanation.  the solution is somewhere in the middle.   That is how it works .

Seriously, though. The grades were logged before it got researched and it would bear logic that the grading was done around the same time as some of his other bulk orders, which erodes the central argument that they shafted him to retaliate. Sounds like he just had a bunch of 8-9s instead of 9-9.5s in that batch. He might be able to show some statistical skew, but a sample size of 10 submissions isn't likely to be enough to really say. I think Aloha needs to send in a few dozen more bulk batches so we can see more data.

Just going on what i had experienced in the past multiple subs from the same collection.

Also, been using grading companies a Long time.

  13. Talk to Paul.    Solved in a fair manner as usual.

To all you posting,  Step back and see both sides.  Then you get a more clear picture.

    Props to Paul again.

    ======================================================================================

On a side note (not related to CGC)  educate yourself:

.   A BGS submitter had his "chrome" cards sitting in the BGS storage for serval months.  When he got his card back, all the grade were very low with the subs on surface bring down the overall grade.  What he noticed, is the surface on many cards were "fogged", what most likely happened was the cards somehow got stored in a humid part of the facility which caused the problem.  People that actually grade cards understand what humidity does to chrome cards.

There is a lot of factors that effect cards that many here do not understand.  that is why i do not like cards sitting longer than needed.  Only bad things happed if cards sit around.   Next time you post,  have more experience with submissions.

my wife and kids spend a lot of time making nice videos of CGC reveals.   Graphics , music , all good for CGC.

    Hello Alohaboyz,

Your invoice was graded on 11/30/2020. It then went onto the research cart for some cards that were not in our database, which can indeed cause a delay.

The delay that was incurred was not normal, and was 100% CGC's fault, and I apologize for that. But the wild accusation that CGC "took revenge" on you is completely out of line. It is also disputed by the fact that the invoice was graded in late November, well before you were inquiring about it.

You have my email, as we talked about this invoice on January 15th. Next time, please just reach out to me directly with your issues and I will be happy to assist.

    Thank you,

    Paul

are you available to talk on the phone now?

your the only one that made a comment of ethics.  why havent anyone else answered yet.  I have no problem sharing the video channels if everyone can be ethical and not bother or harass them.

Consider this personal story from last year...

During the height of the pandemic, I order my groceries for pick up to limit contact. I do a fair bit of cooking so orders were made twice a week usually. For four straight months, everything worked great. I got everything I ordered, the fresh food was great, the service was great. And if substitutions had to be made, it always worked out.

Then, on maybe the 30 somethingth time order, I went to pick up and half my order was missing. I was like “hey where are these other items I ordered” and they said they weren’t on my order. What had happened?

Well rather than post about how terrible they were immediately because my order wasn’t right or yell and scream at the delivery person, I took a moment and looked. And sure enough I had made the error of not clicking save when I had tried to update my original order. Fault was mine. Frustrating but my fault. No need to internet hate the company. My error. I thanked the person, said I messed up and went home with my half grocery order.

Right now you are at the stage where you need to check your grocery order. Meaning look at these cards once in hand. Then you may have grounds to an actual issue with CGC if they messed up.

This is different. This is grading cards. There are variables involved and nothing is perfect.  Well this is perfect Zero above 9.  compared to 9 other submissions.  There is not button pushing were i sent 4 cards and expected 50 back.    Everyone makes mistakes, and CGC is part of that everyone.   Explain why was the submission months late? is that my fault for sending a submission in OCT ?  Was it my fault that the other 9 submissions were sent back in time?  Many are not looking at consistency and obvious red flags.  This one submission was missing cards/switched, late, etc.

please look at the obvious . The dates., is that my fault for sending cards exactly as received by CGC and documented?  i have no control of what is going on once in CGC hands.   I think CGC need to check the order.
