  1. Me too, my 5 y.o daughter is excited. Has her sketchbook and her supergirl costume set aside anxiously waiting for Saturday. Besides, how can you really knock free comics? When free comic book day first started, I remember shops limiting to 3 a person. Now Take, totally incredible especially if you have a child, and seeing them get into the hobby. Love it!!!
  2. Dropped off 2 comics at a con to be reholdered on 3/17. Been sitting at verified since 3/22. No change, should I be concerned? congrats on your fast turnaround.
  3. Wow! Looks like grading at modern slow is faster than getting a reholder lately.
  4. Only three? That is tough... have to go with some classics—- ( And a tie for third, can’t keep the Golden 100 off the list )
  5. Great looking books, sorry about the detached cover. ?
  6. I’m excited for the hoopla around the “free comics” —the discounts in store items and back issues, free sketches by local artists, and boxes and boxes of $1 books ( mostly recent issues ) and my daughter loves getting the free comics so yeah, I still like it ??
  7. @snownado - For 10 yeah, I’d consider it. Especially sketch covers, they really pop in the new holders. ??
  8. The 102 is definitely a winner, but in my honest opinion the 100 Michael Golden cover is the gem of the bunch.
  9. I consider this 2nd ( my opinion only ) when moderns changed from red to blue.
  10. I believe pressing became more of a thing sometime after these labels ended ( I think of them as second , because universal labels were red / not blue at 1st )
  11. They could have been, not as readily available to do. And I remember when it kind of started becoming a thing, many threads about it - and it wasn’t really welcomed as it is today.
  12. Most books in the older slabs were graded Before pressing comics came into play.
