If I saw that before seeing this post I wouldn't know that is was something special. After seeing this I have filed it into my brain to keep an eye out for. A book that was not supposed to be released, but a copy is in someones hand and verified is pretty interesting. It would be insane to find out if this was 1:1, but I doubt it.

All blanks like this are cardstock. Whether or not they are great for inking or using watercolor etc. is a different story. Ask any comic artist which bristol board that they prefer over another, and it is a rabbit hole, especially since there are so many different brands of black/india ink that flow and absorb into the different bristol boards differently. I'm sure many bigger artists have done commssions on these blanks and know what ink(s) and other media works best on them. Not sure if every publisher that produces blanks uses the same cardstock/bristol for the cover. The blanks aren't just for swipes. They are for whatever you want an artist to put on them, really.

In today's world you can't win. You don't include every race and made up gender in a story you create, and you are a bigot, -ist and/or -phobe. You do write them in and mischaracterize a certain group because you have not had enough actual life experiences interacting with said people, and you are a bigot, -ist and/or -phobe. I have literally had multi-hit acid trips that were less bonkers than the world around us at this juncture. It comes down to this. Write what you want and are comfortable with. The ivory towers of the mentally deranged will crumble under their own weight soon. We have the 1st Amendment for a reason, and there is also a reason why it is the 1st Amendment and not the 10th.

I have a decent collection of early 90's death metal on cassette. I did know that certain cassettes were somewhat valuable, but only thought so due to the underground nature and rarity of some of them. In the late 80's to early 90's I gave a huge stack of hard rock/hair band cassettes to my cousins husband. Probably about 40 cassettes ranging from Aerosmith, Cinderella, Bon Jovi, Poison, Def Leppard and Motley Crue etc. Like everyone said though, they do wear out very easily. I still have all my mid/late 90's to early 2000's underground dance music vinyl in my climate controlled storage room (again I did know that some of them have becom a bit expensive in good shape). I would never sell my vinyl or death metal cassettes at this juncture. Agreed though, vinyl is the best medium IMO due to the warmth of the sound, and the requisite pops and crackles inherent on them.

Wow...a completely but-ugly cover IMO. $70+ auctions with 6 days to go. I would never had pre-ordered that book just based on a cover spec. This market is nuckin futs.

I too believe I have 2 copies of that either in my PC or overflow inventory boxes. If in my PC they will be easy to locate. If in my inventory boxes, I know for sure they are not databased as I checked my inventory app. Do not know if I will even dig for this if the latter is the case. $8-10 for a book that by the time I get around to finding will be $2 again.
