I am hearing that the cover A was just shortprinted this week, and the remainder of the copies are to ship next week. Do not pay the ebay price for these. If you already have copies to sell, I guess more power to you as the lemmings are falling over themselves to get this book it seems. If the remainder of the ordered copies ship next week or sometime thereafter, well....

That is completely bonkers for an 8.0! Is that a 1:25 or 1:50 or something? Why such a high price for that book, and a lackluster cover if I'm being totally honest?

At least 5 years...The SW books that have the black action figure ads seem like the ink rubs off of them even just sitting in a box untouched. You come back a year later and can see black ink on the board. And yes, I know the glossy side is the correct side to have the book on. I always cringe when I see YT hauls or other videos where the person slides the book out of the bag, but keeps the board inside. And then slides the book down the board to get back in. You do that just a few times and you have serious ink loss.

They will probably completely destroy the source material like the creators on Y: The Last Man. 1 season and cancelled. Too hard to just stick with the source material that fans enjoyed throughout the comic series. Time will tell but I don't have high hopes.

This^^ CGC probably notates it so as to bring awareness to whether or not it is missing in a copy, the book would be graded as Qualified I assume.

What is wrong with the spine? From what I see is both spine side corners have a bindery chad from the simple fact that a thick cardstock gets folded, and much tension on the corners creates a pinch/tear. Well within the 9.8 range if there are only 1 or 2 more almost imperceptible flaws.

I've been thinking of getting the trades for Astro City for some time now. I have never read a single issue of the series, but feel compelled to. Is it a cliche superhero book, or more akin to something like Wanted or The Boys with mature themes etc.?

Great times reading those runs when they came out. The whole comic industry seemed to just be putting out some of the best stories of all time, maybe? Green Lantern across the board was just great. Good pickups!

I'm with you on the totally out of place hover bikes. Who passed those in the art department? Probably was nixxed by the art lead and a suit says keep those in there..wtf? Also, the Gammorean Guards look horrible in Mando and BoBF. I think I may have said this here or somewhere, but obviously the whole team working on those shows has never watched ROTJ!? They just look like humans with masks that are too big for their bodies, the green color is too light and they lack all the proprortions of the guards we know from the original film. It's like we get 1/3 content to appease the real hardcore fans of the universe, and the other 2/3 is the Disneyfied garbage to cater to the people who have hopped on the bandwagon in the last 5 or so years. The same ones who will hop off the wagon before too long to follow the lemming's to the next IP. End of

For sure....Cad Bane was a huge player in the CW and Rebels with a huge fan base. No way they are going to kill him off after 2 episodes. People love to hate him as he is the biggest scoundrel of them all.

I agree. That is the one thing I do not like about the omnibus reprints. Those old colors were made very bright with the knowlegde that the art is being printed on non-bright white and matte newsprint, and would lose about 2 shades of value/intensity. The omnis get printed on that super bright paper with high gloss and it does not look very good IMO. I think they should print on matte paper with a slight off-white tone and the art would look more like the original. Most digital recolorings are not very good to me either.

1-6 is a $200 set IMO. I sold a set about 4/5 years ago for like $90? I had a couple extra duplicates of the last 2 issues and got like 30 a piece for them. I just have two full sets now and have been hesitant to sell as those books are pretty scarce. Really wish I had pre-ordered like 8 of each of those issues...

Not at all. I have just been using it for a few years now and the price is good for what you get.

I'm in the same boat. I sold a copy of 35 about a year ago for $10? Pretty sure I have at least one more, but it is not showing in my Collectorz database. I have ALOT of boxes not inventoried yet, and have looked through a bunch plus some short stacks I have dispersed here and there, but to no avail. Maybe I don't have another, oh well. Anybody is interested the Collectorz database program is pretty cool and will even scan modern upc's which is pretty awesome. Is only like $3-4 a month for both the app which will work on desktop browser plus the clz app for a mobile device for the scanning portion, and they sync up. Well worth it.
