  1. OK, this is a newbie question, I couldn't see the answer in this thread, nor through the search function. Is a CGC graded signed copy considered of higher or lower value than another copy of the same issue graded at the same level by CGC? That is, is a CGC yellow label 5.0 Stan lee signed book worth more or less than a blue label CGC 5.0 of the same issue? Personally, I would prefer to see the cover as it was created, but interested in what the consensus is for this.
  2. Just joined the forum and found this topic. I have come back to my collection after 35 years, and dug out my FF#1 which, unfortunately, looks like this: It's not as bad as some that I have seen lately. But I paid the full price back in the day but got this lower quality copy. I live in Australia and back then, ordering was much more difficult than today (no images of what you were buying, and it took at least three weeks turnaround on any airmail correspondence) and returns were not possible. So I am feeling pretty aggrieved at that dealer for sending such a low quality issue. I would be interested in what grading people here would give it.
  3. Hi After 35 years since I stopped collecting, I have come back and amongst other things, found this site. Technological changes over the last decades have certainly made it easier on collectors, so I am looking forward to completing my SA collection of Marvels. (Or at least those I can afford ). Looking forward to learning more on this forum...
  4. I have been reading these boards for a while, and joined as a member so I could ask about this issue, since no-one else has responded to it. Isn't it of concern that MCP is going to leach the colour out of covers after longer term storage? What would that CA100 be graded at now with a cover like that?
