  1. So to rephrase the OP's question, assuming the book is 9.8 for humor and learning purposes, how much does the ink transfer affect the grade? (Also considering such ink transfer could have occurred pre-consumer and hence be part of the production process).
  2. Incredible condition - for a favourite book, you couldn't have read it too many times! I think the only defects I can see from those photos (very slight on the bottom corners) is allowable for a 9.4 grading
  3. @wombat you may like to fix the broken links on the first page of this thread. It would be nice to see what you are talking about...
  4. I hope it would! However, I am in Australia and we don't have any comic pressing companies here AFAIK. So all my collection must remain au naturel.
  5. Here's my entry ticket for this club... First time it has seen the light of day in 45+ years...
  6. This one looks nice but has a pretty obvious problem... so how much does that lower its grade? Haha - I liked this on the splash page: Thanks in advance for your grades!
  7. Hard for me to grade above 9.2 with only photos to base judgement on. So 9.2 or better.
  8. Oops was going to say 2.5 to 3 but then found out it was an old thread updated. Congratulations! This is in much better condition than the copy I bought back in the 70s.

  10. Here's my ticket... I have had it for over 45 years - all the damage had been done before then.
  11. 5.0 but would hope for a 5.5 like buddy2 got recently ;-)
  12. 4.0 (though better than some ASM#35 rated 4.0's I have seen)
  13. I don't know the rules on this forum - are good sellers like this allowed to be named and recommended?
  14. Here is my entry to the club, though I have been an unofficial member for over 50 years ;-) First time this has seen the light of day in over 40 of them...
  15. All those reflections make it a bit tricky but I will say 6
