  3. I love that Suspense #28. That's another book thats been eluding me in a decent grade. DR.X
  4. .62 cents ea from U-Line. + shipping. The only way to go for me. Get the order in before noon and there on my porch the next day. I use several different adjustable depth boxes, depending on how many books are going out.
  5. I am tentativley going to start unloading these Four Colors tonight. Hopefully I will be getting started around 5:30 Central. 8. Correct, but it takes two to cause the havoc. How many time's have we seen sellers with a couple of post's in start selling. And the signs fly. DR.X
  9. I have been following this whole thread ( and I'm glad I did ) and want to throw my in and go finish cutting the lawn. Sure, this was an off the board puchase. But, it involves two members. Here's what some may call the "gray area". Me personally, I want to know about stuff like this, regardless if it's on or off the boards. I won't deal with someone like this. Just me. My preference. What some are forgetting is that this a community, for the most part. We try and help the other guy out when he's in a jam, and give him a head's up when things look questionable. Steer people away from Roboblow, and Bijouscammy. Now, here's my point, and why I am glad I read this. Sagat had a book on e-bay that I need to fill a hole. I've been watching it for quite some time. I finally have the funds and was about to contact him and try and work out a deal with him. I don't know Sagat personally and have never done any business with him. After reading this thread, I'll keep looking for that book, and won't do any business with him. That's just me though, and my preference. DR.X
  10. Lift off in less than 1 hour. Due to circumstances beyond my control ( $1.00 Labatt's specials at lunch ), I may have my wife ( Mrs.X ) run this sale. It could be wild and crazy with her at the healm. DR.X
  11. I will be continuing my sales from my recent haul, Wed evening. I will try and get started a little earlier, say around 5:30 Central. I will have around a dozen 1940's Tarzans ( F.C. #161 ), about a dozen mixed Golden-Age books, and a few early Mad's. Every thread so far has been a complete sell-out. DR.X
  12. Those P.J.s have burned a hole in my mind. Even I don't think I could drink enough beer to get rid of it. DR.X
  13. Hey hey Probie list shill. Were you the guy with the funky pyjamas?
  14. I am hopefull going to have another sales thread starting Wednesday evening at 6 Central start time. Continuing the sales of that big collection I got a few weeks back. Dells will be coming soon. Relax Scrooge. I have about 30 - 1940's Captain Marvels. I will also be selling around 20 or so mixed Golden Age titles. Last two threads were complete sell-outs. Keep up the good work. See you guys on Wed. DR.X
  15. I am hoping to start a thread Monday night at 6:00 Central if nothing gets in the way. I am going to start selling some of the stuff I hauled in last week. I will be starting with some early Supermans, Bat-Man's, Action, and a mix of other stuff. About thirty books to start. These are all low grade copies but all of them are complete. Good stuff for those of us who cant afford nose-bleed books. DR.X
  16. From my recent comic haul. A new adventure for me learning about Undergrounds. I'm also learning who the cheap azzes are around here with the low-ball offers. DR.X
  17. I don't bow down too often, but that is one nice copy. DR.X
  18. +1 Great books. That #16 is a beaut. I had a hard time locating a 9.0. DR.X
  19. I picked this up in Crete, Ill years ago at an estate sale. Its a ink sketch of The Ressurrection of Christ by Frank Wiehl. I think thats the name on it. It's dated 1887 I believe. My cheap camera doesn't do the detail on this print justice. I really need to take this to someone and get it removed from the rotting frame and get it cleaned. I wasn't sure if I should remove it as the frame looks to be original and is in bad shap. The print is in great condition.
