So I’ve heard. Unless I sell more junk stuff, I’m tapped out. Although, I did grab some nice CGC SS slabs this month. Any prizes won in my contest are on the house. Anyway, just seen this. This has been a very busy year for me just about non stop. Lots of stuff going on, and of course all the motorcycle stuff we do, and if you followed my motorcycle thread you get an idea of things going on. I have a bit of a conflict of interest with my start date. Nothing set in stone yet, but..................... the contest has already been prepped, and all the prizes boxed up and ready to go. Since Christmas falls on a Saturday this year, I didn't want the contest running into Christmas day or Eve as I'm sure ( as I do ) we all have plans. I was going to launch it this week, but I have other matters this weekend. So maybe the week after Christmas. Sorry for the delay. I have business in other galaxies that requires my assistance.

I just read this whole thread again. Is there a scan of the back cover of the book in question? I'm going back to bed.

It was that way on here for a while. Years ago lots of new people coming in here just to sell, and whamo. Hit and run, no books showed up.

Quality Control, or whatever they claim to be, should be sent packing. I'm waiting for someone to get their book back, with no book in the holder.

Okay, maybe these pics will help you out. LOL Here's another shot of the top staple. It's the angle of that pic that made it look dark. There is no rust anywhere, none, nada. Here's another shot of the top edge. And there is a bit of over hang from the pages, and it looks straight as an arrow. Pic looks funny but I doubt this edge is trimmed but thanks for the comments. I think the darker colored areas in the middle and the sides give it the appearance of a wave. Looks straight to me, but what do I know.

This book looks and feels like it just came off the rack, but has a bit of that old comic book odor. Some very light color rubbing on the bottom spine. Very faint thumb crease on the outside front cover edge about 3" up from the bottom. Edges are sharp and clean. Centerfold is tight. Lassie come home.

this is a pretty nice book. top edge front cover has a small, 1/8 tear above the word INTRODUCING. bottom front cover has a small crease. back cover is a bit off white, maybe yellowing. staples are clean and centerfold is well attached.

fantastic looking book.

Chip off top corner. Some bending along the cover right side. Inside front and back covers are tanning. Paper is a bit stiff. Centerfold is well attached with no rust on the staples. Paper is actually pretty nice inside. Dust shadows on back cover. Looks like a bit of moisture got to this book on the back cover top corner and some rippling along the edge. Still has pretty good color and presents well.
