  1. Likely that’s MicroChamber paper inserted between the cover and pages for conservation.
  2. Thanks! She is the unfiltered persona I would love to be if our society wasn’t so PC about, well, murder and stuff... ... and she unnerves @Funnybooks so, totally worth it.
  3. Hi all - So, friends, here is Marvel Premier #16 - 2nd appearance of Iron Fist. Can definitely use a clean and press. I missed the centerfold picture but I did get a good look at it because I was concerned due to the staples being offset. The centerfold is tight with no issues. Again there’s a few color breaking spine creases and the corners are blunted but the back is clean. Pages are Off-White to White and book is complete. What’s the ceiling? (I’m into this bad boy for $2, so...)
  4. Hi all - I was trying to figure out why I had this book graded at a 4.5, ‘cause it clearly ain’t that. Then I remembered that I upgraded this issue and forgot to go back and regrade it. So now, I’m thinking that this book might be worth grading... Here is Amazing Spider-Man #123, Luke Cage appearance. Fresh book, a few color breaking spine creases, corner blunting and edge dings, cover and centerfold firmly attached, book is complete with off-white to white pages. Love this cover!
  5. 4.5 + gratuitous key bump = 5.0 -- 5.5 after C&P
  6. I knew I saw this posted recently. I'm assuming it is still for sale? The consensus grade landed around 7.0, and the BC corner was noted but there were no guesses as to what it was. Appears to me to be water damage... There are more pictures that include interior pictures in this post:
  7. Hi all - When I first saw ASM 298 and 299 I thought they were the same issue. I’m sure that I wasn’t the only one. Next up is ASM 299. Better condition than it’s twin. The bottom corners opposite of the spine, front and back, have corner chip issues. (This includes the pages as well.) Would that be considered a production defect? As always, I thank you for your grading opinions...
  8. Hi all - When I first saw ASM 298 and 299 I thought they were the same issue. I’m sure that I wasn’t the only one. First up is ASM 298. Not sure how the pictures will look as I tried some different lighting... Thanks for taking the time...
  9. And may or may not have a back cover!!! Reality doesn’t resolve until I have observed it, so I can neither confirm nor refute the existence of said cover. (See Schrödinger’s Cat - which may or may not be be dead.)
  10. Interesting, the BC stamp is an ink transfer from the comic below it... (it's backwards!) There also appears to be a price written on the bottom of the BC. Should not affect the grade. 8.0
  11. "...was hoping..." written in the past tense, implies that you have already pressed it. I assume that's not the case. 3.5 as is... but I don't think 4.5 is out of the question.
  12. Trivial book, waste of time grading, not worth the paper it's printed on, McFarlane is over-rated..... can I have it? Well, since I'm here... 9.2 too.
  13. This is a raw book, I wouldn't assume it's complete; especially issues that have Marvel Value Stamps...
