    Eerie #87 Original Cover Proof from 10/1977. Classic "Sun Goddess" cover art by Frank Frazetta. All but one of the proofs in this sale are pre-production proofs that would have gone to senior figures at Warren Publishing for approval & sign-off before being printed. In fact the "BIGGEST ! BEST !" banner was changed to yellow (with black exclamation marks) in the printed version here for greater impact. It's extremely tough to find original proofs to these classic Frazetta covers. $375
