It takes over 3 months to get stuff fixed FYI..... been there, doing it again now with labeling errors....
Part of the reason I used CGC was because the slabs came back in foam. Now they changed that if that causes damage then we are going to have a big problem.

If I spend $1000 to get things graded and they come back scuffed I'm going to be pissed.

How did that even get an 8 on Centering without a qualifier?

So…everything went into scheduled for grading or grading process today. Everything from feb/March bulk to standards just received this week. Odd but I’ll take it!
Same for mine. Very odd. I bet the system bugged.

Hi there,
The time at which the card on file is charged wouldn't really slow down the process regardless, but to clarify, it is charged when the cards move to grading.
Thanks!
I've had my card charged on June 11th and they are still sitting at received from over 2 weeks now. So this is highly inaccurate.

To all that are thinking of submitting cards for grading, I have had 4 returns before Feb but my last 3 orders sent (Dec, Jan, and Feb) were all received in 2 months after tracking showed CGC was in possession of them. Keep in mind the 200+ working days clock starts for bulk orders when they are shown as "Received In" on your submission page. All submissions were sent when there was still a 30-60 day lead time quote, and I get it this is a moving target but 200+ days!!!! Now I have over 3k in cards sitting in a receiving room while the market is slowing and by the time I get them in late 2022 the market will be much less than where it is now. I called to request the cards just be returned, I would pay for the return! But nope this will take away from resources so any change even a return is a hard no. As new orders are paying more to get moved ahead of the line the Bulk orders will get backed up even further, I may get my still in 2023 at this rate.
I can tell ya I'm not giving CGC another dime, not one dime for any other submission. I think they need to invest more time and energy into grading the back log of cards and hiring the head count they need to keep up. If you want to pay the money now as you can not make changes to current orders and pay the extra $15 you may get them in a couple months. Again I am done this is mess.
Just wait till they charge you for them without any progress on the submission. I love giving people interest free loans.

Card Charged June 11th. Nothing since. Can I start charging you interest now?

Following I want to hear the resolution

No it has not. My card was charged over a week ago and nothing has changed.

What does the page say for you currently?

BULK NO SUBGRADES: 54 cards
Received: 3/24/21
Credit Card Charged: 6/11/21
Still not scheduled.
Thought they weren't charging cards until they were being graded? -
Got an email my card was charged but my cards are still in received. What gives? I was told I wouldn't be charged till they were being graded.

CGC needs to shut down and clear their backlog before accepting any more submissions much less add another game.

Then let us cancel our orders, Paul.
Let me cancel mine WITHOUT being charged the full amount.

With the changes in turnaround time is it possible that once my package has hit the received stage to have it returned instead of waiting in the bulk line to be graded? I'm not confident at this point that my cards will come back within the next year with all the bumps.

This will just push my current submission further and further back from the 45 day to the 111 it is now to 300-400 days I forsee coming.
-
For submitting cards should I use the raw value or the potential value after being graded? I have an $80 raw card that sells for $120 after grading assuming its an 8 or better. Can I include this as bulk or would this get charged for Economy? Thank you.

Will CGC determine if the stamp on my 1st edition cards is grey or not if I don't put it in the optional portion on the submission form? I'm not sure what classifies as grey and what doesn't.

They can't even manage to catch up what they have now and you want them to add more? Get out.
