Howdy. Anyone reading this that has sent in comics to the in house signing for Elizabeth Olsen, have your comics been signed and graded yet? And did you choose to get them pressed (I did, which would add more time). Just waiting for some returns.

Yeah looking for the Good Button variant. 1996/2500. It’s super niche and weird, I know. 

So I’m not sure how to go about this or if there are even any tips other than looking on eBay every now and then. But I’m looking for 1996/2500 for Disney Comic and Stories 13. I don’t have Facebook or Instagram, so not in any sale groups/pages anything. But if anyone happen to come across it let me know.

I always press my books. Through CCS. Yeah if I didn’t press that Venom 7 I think it would have came back a 9.4 or 9.6. 
more a huge gamble because I have 9.6 books that are better condition than some 9.8s I own.

Send in the slab as is for the signing.  DO NOT crack it open as you will lose the yellow label for CC.  If you just send in the comic after opening it, the label after the DC signing will be yellow/green.

If you send in the slab,  it will get a new yellow label with both mentions of the signing on the label and if you want it be custom like it is now, you will need to re-select it and be charged extra again.

If you want DC's sig to be in specific location, send in a pre-made window set up so when they crack it, they will place it in the bag for you.  They will still place book in a bag if you do not provide one but then DC will sign wherever he wants.  Also, the grade back may not be a 9.8.  There is that risk as well.

, I have a tough choice to make. I like the 9.8 and it’s a scary risk for it to come back any lower. 

Okay, I’m still learning here, so yeah. I just checked my email and saw that Donny Cates is doing a signing. I own Venom 7 signed already by Clayton Crain. I’m still iffy if I want to send, it’s a 9.8 and it’s not the strongest grade either. 
My question is, can I send the slab in like that? And if so, CGC would crack it? And Cates would sign where ever he felt like on that day? 
Also, how does the grading work? Do they send in the paper part of the Elbe with the grade (label) and it’s the same grade or do they destroy it and completely re grade?

Read all the replies. But yeah, the word suffix and word “man” is a generic term for human/people. And even the Bible and God use the term man to describe people. Ex: “Man shall not live in bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God -Matt 4:4”

I just don’t understand the “progressiveness” that Marvel and other companies are confirming to. Wasn’t there talk about removing/changing the Punisher logo because people were butthurt that some people wore that on their shirts?

Just saw something on YouTube (the only social media I use) and saw something about how there might be a rename to “x-men”. Apparently some Twitter users  are offended because it says “men” and it’s sexist. 
I’m new to these forums and not sure if this type of topic is allowed, I know a lot of sites don’t like controversial topics, but that’s how to share opinions and learn. 
Anyway, if this doesn’t get took down (fingers crossed), keep it civil.

I’m super proud of these! What makes them super special is that I bought them all raw! And they all graded 9.8! I swear, the Ghost Rider one was way more hard for me to find than Venom 7. 

Just wondering if there was a site/app where I can take online inventory of my CGC books. I know PSA has one for graded cards, I use that. 

My favorite cover ever by Clayton Crain: Cosmic Ghost Rider 1 #1 trade dress got a 9.8!! Something about it just makes it beautiful. And I’m pumped about my infinity gauntlet covers!

I got these back from CGC. I’m kind of butthurt about Thor #5, I think CGC accidentally put the Knull label when I didn’t get it. If I send it in for rehokder, it’ll go back to original blue label? Also, I’m proud of the SA #1 Walmart book since it came shrink wrapped and not protected. And Thor 9....Greg Hildebrant cover... oh man, such a Beaty! 

3 of mine are being delivered today. 4 are in the grading/encapsulating phase and 3 are still at CCS for pressing.

Hey, does anyone happen to know when CGC is having Clayton Crain do the in house signing? The cut off date for the books was well over a month ago. Just curious on an eta as I’m anxious to get my awesome comics signed, graded. And returned! I sent in 10 great books. Here’s a pic of 3 I really love. 

Sweet! I'm sending in my two walmart covers, and the Alex Ross varients for SA 3 and 4. Debating sending in my blue label 9.8 SA 1 1st print.

So I need help. Skottie Young is having his CGC in house signing. I'm sending in my Strange Academy 3 Alex Ross Doctor Strange cover variant. So when Skottie signs it and it come back graded already, and then if I see Alex Ross is at a con or doing an in-house signing, how does that work? Would I bring/send in the slab and a CGC rep cracks it? And will the label still have the original signature dates on them?
