The few things I’ve been watching are not moving so quickly. One, an Aparo Cover, sold for the nutty price of $22,800 with BP about 1.5 years ago. I couldn’t believe it went that high when it was posted, but who knows, maybe the seller will get lucky. After all, some people really did sleep with Marilyn Monroe.

If you're talking about the Aparo Phantom Stranger #33 cover, then the seller will not get lucky. The seller is dead.

The Ragman splash was actually by Broderick and Tanghal with breakdowns by Giffen and has almost no visible Giffen art at all. Breakdowns they may be, but that art is almost entirely by Broderick and Tanghal and anyone who knows anything about Giffen and Broderick art can see that.

The splash is page 24 in the issue, the end page to the story. HA listed the page number correctly, Comiclink did not (they had it as page 1). Per credits, Broderick only worked on page 22.

I don't know what I think about that Batgirl. I don't want to run it down, but if Dustin Nyguyen sold that for $800...he was very fortunate.

Someone outed Mike in the chat for buying a Pat Broderick Conan page for less than $800 (best offer taken on Ebay) and marking it up to $1700. It was awkwardly funny because the guy said he just blurted it out and didn't mean to cause an issue.

The SSOC #54 pin-up by Broderick was $550 best offer. Good buy price.

There was a coffee shop in town that used to display the “Mark Trail Panel of the Week.”  They said that there was always one panel in every week of Mark Trail strips that, if taken out of context, could be construed as very ‘wrong.’  After looking at Mark Trail through that lens, I came to conclusion that they were right.
