Lol. You won't get notes on a 9.8. I have a 9.0 that has no notes. They are not guaranteed for any grade.
It does happen occasionally…
I have gotten grader’s notes for two 9.8’s over the past couple of years. One for very light tanning FC and another for minimal cover wear

Not too far off lol! Trying to keep in the theme of this thread so I took another pic with my newest acquisition. I've had a mustache since I was 15 - besides teaching, I'm a captain in my Fire Department so a stache is practically required. I also do a bit of acting and the stache comes in handy for that as well. Might have to trim the stache length if I get booked for a commercial this weekend.

You didn't ask me, but I'll answer anyway! For me, I generally will go into CLink the morning after the auction cycle begins (since they usually kick off around 8pm, and I'm not on the computer at that time of night) and scroll through all of the listings, throwing a buck or maybe $5 on everything I'm interested in. That way, whether I'm the "winning bidder", or outbid, the book will still show up on under my Auction Bids in my profile, so I can track everything of interest.
I always throw track bids on every book I’m going for as soon as the auction starts. I’m generally the first (and last) bidder.
You didn’t ask me but I thought I would share it anyways

@Jordysnordy@djpinkpanther67 These sale prices make no sense compared to last month's sales! Might be a White Page thing?

Germs have lasted longer than anything. Outlived all ups and downs. Money and sales still seem exorbitant to me. I know the place I was in Asheville yesterday was having no money issues at all. It was solid bragging about sales and activity in person and over internet.
Asheville is crowded similar to a resort area with trash and zombies walking up and down streets. We got yelled at by mentally Ill kids and adults.
Town under pressure from drugs not the economy it appears to me. Money was flowing fine.

I am not a fan of Conspiracy Theory but I do have one.
I think all ST Economy books are saved for the new graders who just got hired.
Or the two day Grading Summit thing they have going on in July. Or was that what you were talking about? They have complimentary food and drink
