It has been a while since I updated my journal. In a trade to acquire my most prized comic, I had to part with half of my Top 50. I am going to redo the entire current gallery following this post. I chose to leave the original Top 50 photos, so I can look back and cry while thinking of the cool books that have departed my collection. Anyway....Here are my new Top 50!

I own both of these. They were obtained directly from Image. I don't know which one was the contest giveaway book, that is part of what I am trying to figure out. I was hoping somebody that won it would chime in. I SUSPECT the contest book was the sneaky peek man because the back cover credits the art to "Tyler Boss and Adam Gorham". Which matches the description of the contest winning book. The other book you thought was the contest book is just credited to Adam Gorham on the back.

Here is another one I can't identify. Is this one of those employee only books? I asked about it in another thread, but thought the people here might know better.

And then there is this issue with a cover by Adam Gorham that does not seem to exist at all. Anybody have any idea what this is? There is no comic store promo on the back or other identifying info. None on eBay, nor any reference from Adam Gorham that I can find.

I think this first one is from the Image contest to get one of 27 (ish) copies of the Excusive Variant cover? It looks like the regular cover but Adam Gorham added the little dude peaking around the building. "Bronze level prize (24 winners) will be selected at random & will receive a copy of an exclusive variant cover by Tyler Boss and Adam Gorham that won’t be available for sale anywhere else."

Those are awesome! Were you the original submitter? Do you know the process that CGC took to identify the books?

To the best of my limited knowledge, some comic companies print a few test issues prior to final editing. These issues typically are destroyed, but sometimes a few have leaked out. I think the Spawn #285 pictured is an example of this. I have also seen a thread about a TMNT book existing. Has anybody ever submitted a "test printing" or "prototype" book to CGC. If so, how do they go about verifying what it is? What designation do they put on the CGC label? Thoughts? Answers?

I think they made a mistake with the photo. The first one is for #6 in 7.0, with the second for #8.

I ended up selling it on eBay for the same price as a yellow one would go for.

I recently purchased a copy of Spawn #175 with a mostly pink cover. It has some yellow in across the middle, but it is absent everywhere else. Has anybody else come across a copy like this? Does it hurt the value? Thanks
