  1. I would also like to know the answer did his brother sell his comics? My memory is muddy, but if you click the link to see when I told the story the first time, it appears as if Goofus did sell Gallant's books:
  2. Thanks for sharing! I bought a collection once that belonged to two brothers. The same predicament, except the brother with the sweet books decided to put stickers on all his books. The stories behind these collections are what makes them so great to me. There's more information about that collection here:
  3. This book came from a collection out of Niagara Falls. One brother, let's call him Gallant collected some sweet, sweet books. His brother, Goofus was jealous of the sweet, sweet books. Gallant suspected Goofus of stealing his books. So Gallant marked all of his books with a Sharpie in the bottom left corner. He then checked with his LCS to see if they had any books for sale with a Sharpie in the bottom left corner. I have some of these books; they're great!
  4. I don’t consider Florida east coast
  5. Based on the date the CGC book was graded, I'm assuming the seller was taking advantage of the CGC CrossOver promotion.
  6. Note to @thirdgreenham, please do not use that book in the grading contest.
  7. That made me do a Google search, which lead me to YouTube, which led me to this: The Jason Ewert Booth At San Diego Comic-Con. Filmed In 1993.
  8. I've been better. Thanks though Update us on what's new with you...
  9. The CGC version was graded: Grade Date: 04/16/2019 The Voldy version has a serial number of 18-2124777-001 Can we assume the leading "18" means it was graded in 2018? I really don't follow Voldy or their number scheme.
  10. I don't get the "whether to proceed" part of your question. CGC grades and encapsulates the books that passed the pre-screen and returns the ones that didn't pass.
  11. I remember Swagacorn as well. He was outed with a pic of him wearing his green lantern pj’s if I remember correctly. Smh...
  12. Tupenny bought the Walt Simonson Thor / Beta Ray Bill poster and asked for it to be drop shipped after he got an offer right after he posted the take it. Man, I really got that story mixed up.
  13. Pretty sure it was drop ship it to C-Link. That rings a bell.
  14. I don't know that that means. Years ago, someone bought a book from tupenny's selling thread. Paid for it. Then asked tupenny to drop ship it to the person the buyer just sold it to.
