  1. I'm just glad you found an adult when you were experiencing stranger danger.
  2. I've never seen the thin metal straps. I've only seen twine.
  3. Not necessarily for the sellers. Or the auction house.
  4. Well, it shouldn't be, should it? It's not a comic book. If there were a census for money grabs by CGC, you'd find it there. Unsure if these ten books should be in the census. They have serial numbers. On the other hand, they don't have grades or PQ.
  5. I'm confused. Underneath the "10" in the top left corner it says, "First Releases". There were only ten of these released. Is "10" the grade or the number of books released? Are all ten copies of this book "10"s? There is no entry for this book in the census.
  6. Do you mean dropping off raw books for CGC grading? Here are your options for New York: https://www.cgccomics.com/services/DealerListing.aspx?state=ny
  7. No, he doesn't price like that. Have never heard of that before.
  8. I'll try to make you feel a bit better. 2 years ago, I drove 45 minutes to a John Haines show in Batavia only to find that the show had been canceled. No email, no facebook, no communication of cancellation. To top it off, I received one of his mailers about a week prior announcing the CosmicCon. I can totally see that happening.
  9. The package is still somewhere in Ohio. Oct 22, 2018 00:00am In Transit to Next Facility
  10. I've had a package from the UK taking a tour of the Northeast United States for the last two weeks.
