  1. Was it 8 copies or 10? Was the damage on the corners or in the middle of the covers?
  2. It's an annual tradition, so let's hear them.
  3. I get what you are saying. But add in the double cover aspect to the book. Multiple cover books are "created" when static electricity causes two or more cover to "stick" together before being attached to the folios. Damnit. I wrote the above over a ten minute period and I forgot my initial explanation. Maybe @Kevin76 can describe why in a double cover situation, the outer cover is more likely to be miswrapped.
  4. If you're on Facebook, there's groups dedicated to finding vetted pressers.

  6. This is the funniest thing I've read all month. So appropriate.
  7. I've seen 20+ double covers of that issue but haven't seen that occur with that book before..
  8. Back in 1976, when I was seven, my hippie uncle @World Spin stored about four long boxes in my childhood closet. Long runs of Conan, JLA, X-Men, etc.
  9. Ok. I'm waiting for a holder with no comic book or label. Edit: And the holder is cracked. They're getting close.
  10. I did enjoy the writer's firm grasp of the subject matter. The book is ready to explode!
