  1. what a shame, indeed. i had the opportunity to speak to bernie at a few cons over the years- what a genuinely nice man he is, not to mention being a hall of fame talent. best wishes to bernie, liz and their family.
  2. It certainly is an interesting piece but you could get a pretty darn good 11 x 17 published page for that amount.
  3. This past year was a pretty good year for me- I was able to get a few pieces from one of my favorite artists and i got married! 4. I watched this last night...... I will fully admit that i am more of a marvel fan than a dc fan but i am familiar enough with dc mythology to know who the characters were and what their stories are..... honestly, i was very disappointed with the acting, particularly when i like a number of the people in that cast..... i'll give it a few more weeks and hope it improves.
  5. the Cap 100 page price surprised me a bit.............. modern size art, no sinnott inks and no cap. it is a nice page though. very cool if you are a black panther fan.
  6. I take it you mean that the prices you mention for BWS Machine Man are for the books he (just) inked, correct, from issues 1 thru 3?
  7. what did you think of klein and everett on thor?
  8. i follow some of the artists on this list. with little to no public sales from either auctions or from dealer websites, i would love to know how some of these numbers are arrived at... but i guess if you make the price ranges big enough, anything could apply. i am sure a lot of these "values" come from deals where overinflated trade comes into play or it is 2nd hand information (via the phone game) from these not-so- private private sales.................. and isn't an "A" page really subjective?
  9. this was for the 11 x 14 super tight pencils on vellum for 1250. mr steranko delivered exactly what he promised.
  10. I just received mine today of Captain America: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=948914&GSub=137092 This is posted with his permission, of course. I hope that helps people make their decision. I am very pleased by what I received and it was a first rate transaction. Mr Steranko was very professional, polite, friendly, displayed a good sense of humor and kept me informed all the way through. I have no complaints whatsoever.
  11. Just got this today-- thank you to Dan the Man Drummond for a relatively painless deal, . http://qurls.com?i=44927
  12. i have no problem waiting for an artist to clear time in their schedule to begin to work on a piece for me but when they tell you they are almost finished and then you never hear from them again-- well, that really upsets me. he owes you the courtesy of at least an e-mail saying he has been delayed, etc.....
  13. This is new for me: http://cafurl.com?i=3372 I'd paste the image in the body of the e-mail but i don't know how to do that yet.
