My CGC subscription renewal is due next month. I haven't submitted since February. I was hoping CGC would be further along in reimbursing those impacted by this scam. I don't feel right submitting anything until then.

Yeah. Sgt Slaughter was a WWF wrestler and then became a GI Joe. I would think a Cobra Crimson Guard would be a good starting point but I lost track of the Joes after around 1986ish. I know it's not version one but maybe a later version or some other red Cobra guy? Usually it takes a kit bash as well as some putty and sculpting.

There is definitely a Spidey one. Had that one too and saw a couple on eBay. What I didn't realize was there was a JOKER one. That MAY be my next purchase. Not sure about the Hulk though... I know AHI made lots of other cool toys (other motorcycles, cars, parachutes) that predominantly featured Batman, Spidey and Hulk.

Got this badboy off of eBay the other day. Earliest toy (pre-dates "farmboy" Luke) that I remember my mom giving me as a small child. No clue what happened to my childhood toy but this one brought back all the nostalgia.

The most impressive part is Mike is actually standing on the water.

I loved the cover to Veronica #28 so much I tattooed it on my ribcage and bought a 9.8 ta boot.

I gotta agree with @MattTheDuck. The first copy seems to be more vivid and I do look at page color. Especially if I'm upgrading, I would go for the first one. I'd rather pay a little extra for what I feel is a better copy. And as stupid as it is... I look at the cert number. First copy was the first comic in the submission. The second copy was the fourth. I know it doesn't matter but it is a variable that can be used as a tiebreaker if all else fails.

I don't see any spine ticks at least.
