  1. Are you saying the only way I can add new slabs to inventory is to find a Competitive Set they would be in (IF THERE IS ONE??) and create through there? I only ever created a Custom Set because I didn't know any other way to add ALL my slabs to the inventory. Am I missing something? Can you confirm? If that's the case I may wait till the bug is fixed. Meh.
  2. Tried yesterday and today. Same message.
  3. From what we know it does appear that they are two separate incidents. But if CGC has hired unscrupulous employees before then who's to say that there aren't other bad actors among their ranks. No proof but at some point CGC needs to blame another insider or admit that they didn't follow their own protocols. It's either one or the other for all those swapped books that were submitted for a reholder. The truth will come out eventually.
  4. This is where CGC would be responsible 100%. HOWEVER, this is where the theory of having an insider assisting the scammer comes into play. With two court cases going on simultaneously (one against scammers, one against former employees) it's hard to not at least contemplate the two incidents being related.
  5. That's wild. I think I would have called him though. Ask him myself if he swapped the books. If he said no I would ask who he purchased from and/or if he would consider a refund and taking the burden off my hands. Imagine if he said yes just so he could get the evidence back. I feel ya on the value increase too. It is important that CGC fully define what is their method of compensation. I personally believe each and every one of you impacted should get some additional money for every day they keep the book. That is potentially lost interest in the cash value they have yet to determine.
  6. I thought I remember you posting but I couldn't bare going back through the prior 439 pages and relive any of that.I would have reached out to the seller and asked them where they got it. If I thought they were the scammer I would have dealt with it. If they remembered where they obtained it, I would have reached out to them next. If it came to a halt I probably would have caved and sent to CGC. Just trying to play this out in my head.
  7. Can you share more about your impacted book? What book? When and where did you obtain? Did you reach out to the seller after you heard about the scam?
  8. So CGC fixed the cert look up. Looks like two copies of Marvel Spotlight #5 were included in the overall submission. Both came back 8.5 OW-W pages but different grader notes.
  9. Is this true? Did ANYONE report this? I have said before that I was not impacted personally by this scam so I try to refrain from telling those that were impacted what to do. But I've been following this from the beginning and I pondered what I would have done. I don't think I would have sent my slab back to CGC. I really would like to hear more from those that were impacted.
  10. @QuasarComics posted that Cert # 1258948016 (Marvel Spotlight #5) didn't come up either. I looked up some of the preceding books in the submission and nothing came up.
  11. No books under that submission come up either. Other than possible pre-screen rejects, there should be at least 15 other books with this one.
  12. The back top left would be what the grader was talking about if he had flipped the book over.
  13. I think that book has a lot of potential if you find a presser who will love it like it's their baby. Not saying anything bad about anyone in particular.
  14. Where is that rule though? I'm not educated in tax law AT ALL. I just hear the conspiracy is there is no law stating this. IDK. I'm just wonder why nobody can ever show this proof. Like it's just "been this way forever". But why do I hear people who can afford the court fees and have the patience end up winning these lawsuits? It's the fear of being couped up in jail waiting 15 years for your case to finalize is the scare tactic as well I'd think. Maybe I should Google this. I'm just asking you because I'm reading through this depressing topic. LOL.
