A recent acquisition from a private sale!

I have 6 silver age magazines across 2 submissions that were in for Standard Magazine service, SFG 6/2 and 6/13 respectively. Current TAT is 15 days so I emailed CGC 2 weeks ago. They are searching for the books.... Emailed them a week later for an update and received the following: I am still waiting for an update from my internal team at this time. We are currently sorting through hundreds of submissions to locate yours and try to push it through for you. We do appreciate your patience and understanding. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Fingers crossed! **************** Update *************** Both submissions just went GEI!

FWIW my Economy MAGAZINE order from 9/28/21 went GEI a couple days ago. About the same time Magazine STANDARD jumped from 41 to 70 days.

I am 9/28 Economy Magazine. With a 187 day TAT, my handy dandy business day calculator states I should be seeing my books by .July 1 2022.

It's hard to say. Surely it would have been done if it was simple, right? My guess is that they archive older records off onto a different server. Which requires the API to search for the CGC order number in the archive. So a bit of a redesign might be in order? Alec

This book, from 1965, has been sought after for as long as I remember. A Universal 9.4, highest graded, only grades out at 150 points. Can this be adjusted? Beautiful classic cover of Famous Monsters of Filmland #17. This one has seen better days. Odd crease(?) on the obverse lower spine. Several pics provided. I thought it was tape at first but closeup, I don't think so? Thanks for you opinions! Alec

I've had a magazine economy order Received at CCS since 4/27. It recently fell off the 8 month "Submission Status" page and I can't lookup it's status again until it is SFG at CGC. Good times.... Alec

Postcards from MagazineLand....The lower picture is an order so old it has fallen off my main queue...What is the contact avenue to get some CGC support?

I am in the exact same boat with regards with a CCS/CGC order I placed in late March. I am still "Received at CCS" and I can't see which books are in that order yet. I would suggest avoiding CCS and using a third party presser. This has worked for me very well this year after seeing how badly CCS is performing. Alec
