A sharp copy of a scarce book, and if it's genuine (which appears to be the case) the Zacherley signature is a nice bonus...  (thumbsu

Thank you!  One of my collection favorites because of the signature.  It fits so well on the cover.  And that silver sharpie!  Purchased it raw on EBay about a year and a half ago.  I was sweating I was going to get the dreaded GREEN label.  Very relieved. :cloud9:

  2. I have 6 silver age magazines across 2 submissions that were in for Standard Magazine service, SFG 6/2 and 6/13 respectively.  Current TAT is 15 days so I emailed CGC 2 weeks ago.  They are searching for the books....

Emailed them a week later for an update and received the following:

I am still waiting for an update from my internal team at this time.  We are currently sorting through hundreds of submissions to locate yours and try to push it through for you. We do appreciate your patience and understanding. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Fingers crossed!

    Both submissions just went GEI!

Without fully knowing what is under the hood, yes I think so. The submission tracking page is just data output so it should be that simple.

It's hard to say.  Surely it would have been done if it was simple, right?  My guess is that they archive older records off onto a different server.  Which requires the API to search for the CGC order number in the archive.  So a bit of a redesign might be in order?

  4. Hello!  First time posting here.  Hope you can help!

    Set: Famous Monsters of Filmland
Slot: Do-It-Yourself Monster Make-Up Handbook nn

A 9.4 sold for $1500 in the last year.  This book, from 1965, has been sought after for as long as I remember.  A Universal 9.4, highest graded, only grades out at 150 points.  Can this be adjusted?

    Thanks

I sent in around 100 Modern books to CCS in March and April of 2021, and they all still say 'Received at CCS'.  With  current turnaround times at CCS and CGC, when should I expect my books?  August or September of 2022?  Also, my CGC membership ran out in October of 2021.  Am I going to have any issues with billing since my membership ran out almost a year before I receive the books (more than 6 months after I sent them)?  I have a few hundred silver age books I'd like to send in, but with the membership length being only a year and it taking almost 2 years between sending books in and getting them back, I really don't want to make things confusing and super costly.  Are there any better, cheaper options I should be considering?

I am in the exact same boat with regards with a CCS/CGC order I placed in late March.  I am still "Received at CCS" and I can't see which books are in that order yet.  I would suggest avoiding CCS and using a third party presser.  This has worked for me very well this year after seeing how badly CCS is performing.
